Byrd (17 ppg.) may currently be the hottest three-point shooter in the region. At the end of last week Byrd notched 26 points on the strength of a ridiculous 8 made threes in a win against Archbishop Carroll. He was 6 for 6 from deep in the second half of that victory. Earlier this season during WC's defeat of Reading, Byrd splashed 6 threes (22 points total). For the season Byrd is shooting over 40% from behind the arc. This fast and wiry sniper does a stellar job on the fast break running to spots on the arc, getting his feet set and then lacing transition threes. He is also comfortable hitting shots coming off pin downs, “Iverson screens” and zipper cut action.

Stashed away in the Poconos in arguably the top three-point shooter in the region. On the season, Coles is averaging 19.6 points per contest and has already drilled 48 triples. Coles has posted seven games in which he connected on 4 or more three-point attempts. Last week he buried 5 triples on his way to 26 points as he helped PMW defeat Nazareth. Coles is an extraordinary long-range sniper with textbook mechanics, a quick trigger and NBA range. He can knock down threes off the dribble, coming of baseline screens, in transition and out of DHO action. Plus, his ability to use and head / ball fake followed by a side dribble into open space along the arc is remarkable.

Over the weekend O'Brien connected on 6 threes as he totaled 22 points during ‘Stoga's win over Penn Wood. That lights out performance was just the latest example of O'Brien's highly accurate 3-point shooting. Earlier this month O'Brien laced 5 triples (19 pts. total) during Conestoga's victory over Haverford. This lefty with deep range excels as a spot up shooter. He is especially lethal on corner threes point attempts. O'Brien does a fantastic job of sliding along the arc while staying in the ball handler's line of vision.

Udo is the 6th man on a stacked Westtown squad and works as a primary ball handler for large stretches. So, he does not attempt the volume of threes others in this post fire off. However, his accuracy from deep is on par with anyone in SEPA. For example, last week Udo laced 4 triples on his way to 17 points as helped ‘Town defeat Rocktop Academy. He has recorded 3 or more made treys in several games this season. Udo is a point guard who excels at popping threes off the dribble. Plus, Udo thrives at draining long range jumpers off ball screen action. Udo also makes effective use of jab steps as well as crossovers to create space for a 3PA.
