We rank the top ten players from tonight after BSM earned a two score win over Orono.

One. [player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves'] of Orono (Sr). We have said it over and over and tonight it was clear again, Nolan is the favorite for Mr. Basketball and now we have to say State Player of the Year. It's amazing to see a guy face guard Nolan, seem them face to face, and you see the help cheating all over, and Nolan still finds ways to turn a corner and body control his way into an attempt. He draws fouls continually and hit 13 of 14 of the attempts. He scored 45 points on 15 of 27 shooting with eight boards and four assists.

Two. [player_tooltip player_id='1572691' first='Jaleel' last='Donley'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Sr). There were three scoring segments from Donley: segment one was early game pull-up jumpers made, segment two was a four or five basket scoreless stretch, and segment three which was Donley putting the game away in the clutch. Donley had four scores late that put his team over the edge: first it was a two point score that I don't remember, then there was a three that rattled in, and then there were two late attacking scores that gave the Knights the space to get the win. Clutch scoring, 21 points for the game.

Three. TJ Stuttley of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Sr). We can't forget the late pair of scorers from Stuttley who made a corner three and another jumper that were important scores for the lead. He scored on 7 of 17 shots and put 19 points in the book.

Four. [player_tooltip player_id='1484016' first='Brady' last='Wooley'] of Orono (Sr). Rougher night shooting from the field from Brady but he made his foul shots and was the best rebounder on the floor giving his team 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Five. [player_tooltip player_id='2140671' first='Milton' last='Nuahn'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Soph). Milton had three scores, he rebounder four times, but I appreciated his effort to make every catch for Nolan tough. He was never going to stop Nolan, but you have to make him work hard for those points and maybe miss a few more than you want, and I think Milton did the part making Groves work hard. Which seems to make the Groves 45 even more impressive.

Six. Jalen WIlson of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Sr). Rough shooting night as both the Czar and I had him for eight points meaning his first single digit scoring game of the year. But Wilson did get eight boards and score four times to support a full team effort.

Seven. [player_tooltip player_id='2575642' first='Kobbe' last='Willis'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Sr). Scored nine, grabbed some boards, did some things in help, solid role playing night. Hit a three.

Eight. [player_tooltip player_id='1391203' first='Mitchell' last='Kauch'] of Orono (Sr). Kauch gave Orono some scores, he moved the ball to get some shots and he hustled on defense. Kauch was solid for his team as one role player that did play his role solid.

Nine. [player_tooltip player_id='2126475' first='Conner' last='Watts'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Soph). Pushed the ball to the rim for a couple scores and hit a three.

Ten. [player_tooltip player_id='1617768' first='Kendre' last='Fields'] of Benilde-St. Margaret's (Sr). Fields scored three times, grabbed four boards, and dished out three assists.
