PHI has released our penultimate edition of the 2025 prospect rankings. This mid-season update reflects where prospects stand halfway through their senior years. We dive into it from all angles including here in 2025 Rankings: Wing Stock Risers!

[player_tooltip player_id='1545146' first='Matthew' last='Zobrist'] (Metamora)

Zobrist is having an absolutely monster senior campaign. Each time we have seen him he has been nothing short of spectacular! Put on a show at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic where he was dominant leading his team to the semis while pretty much doing whatever he wanted pouring in deep threes, step backs, and his passing was very impressive. Put himself squarely in the Player of the Year conversation.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105166' first='Vincas' last='Buzelis'] (Hinsdale Central)

Buzelis is a South Dakota commit that led his team to the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic championship where he took over in the fourth quarter. He is a strong and athletic wing that can score from all three levels. Burst with the ball downhill accelerating as he gets closer to the hoop. Good pull up shooter in the mid-range and can knock them spotting up off the catch. Tough defender and good rebounder. The passing instincts really have improved.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545125' first='Dominique' last='Clay'] (Quincy)

Clay was outstanding at the Collinsville Holiday Tournament along with his play at Highland Shootout. Back to back big games for this Austin Peay commit who has a long and lanky frame with a lethal three point stroke. One of the better spot up shot makers in the state. The athleticism makes him a legit three and D player at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1385302' first='Damion' last='Porter'] (Romeoville)

Porter who recently committed to Tarleton State has elevated his stock as a senior. Big bodied and physical wing can play both on and off the ball. Plays with a ton of physicality getting downhill for scores in the paint. Capable jump shooter and has made strides as a distributor. Rebounds at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217980' first='Phoenix' last='Childs'] (Perspectives)

Childs is another strong bodied wing that can flat out get buckets. Was part of the Phillips state title team last year and now is the man for Perspectives. Like the combination of strength, long arms, and skill improvement here.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766470' first='Alex' last='Gossett'] (OPRF)

Gossett has made major strides with the consistency in his game. He has always been a high level athlete that flashed, but the substance has come along in his game this season. In multiple evals we have seen Gossett show growth as a ball handler, shooter, and been much more productive. Like the athletic pop on the defensive end blocking shots and being versatile on that end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2490382' first='Quintin' last='Wiencek'] (Plainfield North)

This Plainfield North wing has been on a tear since the fall where he shined at the Prep Hoops Camp and then lit it up at the Pontiac Holiday Tournament. Well built wing with skill that can shoot it from deep. Really good small college prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375631' first='Kobe' last='Taylor'] (Alton)

Taylor is a long and rangy wing who excels on the defensive end getting in passing lanes and making plays on that end. The athleticism really shines playing in the open floor and crashing the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375627' first='Marquis' last='Vance'] (Marist)

Vance is the ultimate utility combo forward for Marist who should find a nice home at the small college level with his defense, rebounding, slashing, and production.
