2025 Rankings Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With more than a handful of high level players moving into the state there has been a shakeup in the rankings at the top and there have been some risers that have made some moves. This class has really taken shape over the past year and there are some good players that have elevated their game. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1146666' first='Chamberlain' last='Burgess'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1575685' first='Tyrin' last='Jones'] are two players that have not only been near the top since they were freshman but they have really made a name for themselves outside of Utah and they have made the National Rankings. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Burgess has really come alive over at Orem as he is finding ways to always be a threat and his teammates are finding him above the rim and beyond the arc. Burgess will re-class to the Class of 2027 as he will go on a 2 year mission before joining BYU. Jones is playing at such a high level and he is playing with a major motor with something to prove. UNLV got a good one. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Herriman multi-use forward [player_tooltip player_id='1369726' first='Cale' last='Barclay'] will rise a bit in this installment as he has just been too tough. Great player that has translatable skills to the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1272410' first='Coleman' last='Atwater'] out of Davis and [program_tooltip program_id='2091934' first='Utah' last='Gold'] (AAU) has been really impressive and his length, handle and shooting ability is really starting to come together for him at the right time. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1290118' first='Vai' last='Higby'] (Highland) and [player_tooltip player_id='2244568' first='Tyson' last='Forsey'] (Dixie) also make some moves up teh rankings as both oplayer could be steals at the right school and right now could easily fit in at a D2 or NAIA. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2523041' first='Cael' last='Lake'] (Northridge) and Mason Rassmussen (Desert Hills) will both make big jumps in the rankings as they are both talented with next level potential. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stay tuned as next week we will drop the updated rankings for this class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
