<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2026076' first='Brandon' last='Mason Jr']., ABC Prep</strong>: The 6-foot-6 Mason Jr. is arguably the best player in New Mexico, regardless of classification, and certainly deserves his No. 1 ranking. He's certainly the most coveted NM prospect in recruiting with 11 Division I offers, including New Mexico, Nevada, TCU and Washington in recent weeks. Mason Jr. impressed at the recent Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas, NV. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2306011' first='Grady' last='Munson'], Gateway Christian</strong>: Munson zoomed up the rankings as a result of his fantastic start to the 2024-25 season for Gateway Christian, which is located in Roswell. He's the top sophomore scorer in the state, averaging 19.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for the Warriors. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2309741' first='Josiah' last='Wilson'], Bosque</strong>: Few 2027 prospects have made as significant a jump as Wilson, who has almost doubled his output from his freshman campaign. Right now, he's averaging 15.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game for Bosque. Wilson described himself as a “high IQ point guard who can facilitate and score at all 3 levels. Pushes the pace and a pass ahead PG.”</p>

<p><strong>Luis Gonzales, Volcano Vista</strong>: When you're on a roster filed with great players, it's sometimes easy to get lost. But Gonzales is holding his own and contributing to the success of the hawks.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2306014' first='Daniel' last='Hernandez'], Estancia</strong>: The 6-foot-2 Hernandez has been solid for Estancia so far this season, averaging 7.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. </p>
