We asked the question... who is going to step forward with a big win as a contender? And the answer was Prior Lake.

3AAAA Wayata at 8AAAA St. Louis Park

Prediction. Correct. But never did I expect a 32 point blowout win at 101-69. It was a 57-26 game at the half! In a top ten match-up! Wayzata was led by [player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] with 26 points, [player_tooltip player_id='1560807' first='Isaac' last='Olmstead'] with 23 points, and [player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] with 21 points.

6A Central Minnesota Christian at 2A Dawson-Boyd.

Prediction. Correct. It was a two point game at the half but the depth and talent of the Jacks was too much and they picked up a big top ten wins. Gunner Liebl had a game high 18, [player_tooltip player_id='1874834' first='Drew' last='Hjelmeland'] had a double double of 16 and 10, and [player_tooltip player_id='1411178' first='Brayson' last='Boike'] became the school's all time leading scorer!

9AAAA Lakeville North at 10AAAA Prior Lake

Prediction, WRONG. The Panthers did NOT win by a basket. They got behind double figures in half one and got beat 75-57 in a controlling Prior Lake win. Of all the teams that are on the come up looking to beat a nemesis, Prior Lake was the team that did it! And they did it with a balanced line-up. Sure [player_tooltip player_id='1434127' first='Norbu' last='Jenpa'] had his 22 but after that TEN other guys scored! They had six guys that scored on three or more possessions! That's depth.

Chaska at 4AAAA Champlin Park

Prediction. Correct. We said Rebels by six, it was Rebels by 15. [player_tooltip player_id='1288748' first='Tyler' last='Wagner'] had five threes, four dunks and a total of 34 points leading a Rebels team with punch, to a controlling win. We talked more about it in the feature article on this game.

10A Ada Borup at 7A Red Lake County

Prediction. PERFECT. We said Ada-Borup by a basket, they won by a basket 66-64! All I can find is the score but at some point I am sure the Ada-Borup Twitter will have something, and we do know [player_tooltip player_id='1482041' first='Austin' last='McCraven'] recently hit 1,000 points because of their Twitter, but right now we don't have anything but the score.

Mankato East smoked Rochester Century 95-55 but we got the [player_tooltip player_id='2173971' first='Sabir' last='Ahmed'] update as the Century leading scorer is right now at 21 points a game. He's shooting nearly 43 percent from the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617722' first='Jaxon' last='Young'] hit a game winner so Coon Rapids could beat Jefferson 60-58, and on that score Young went over 1,000 points for his career.

I'm going with Eagan knocking off ranked Farmington 74-67. Eagan had five guys in double figures led by [player_tooltip player_id='2447719' first='Wesley' last='Hoke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1560747' first='Alex' last='Schroepfer'] who each had 15 points helping the Cats stay undefeated.
