Where should you go to see basketball in Minnesota this weekend? We give you the breakdown right now with tomorrow's Big Stage being the big event.

The Friday Metro Combo. You could hit up Cooper at Fridley for the 6pm start and then head over to Eagan at Minneapolis Southwest which is a 7:45 start I am guessing because of some type of double-header.

Cooper and Fridley is a big game because both teams are 0-3 and need a win badly. Cooper has no stats reported so tough to know if they have their expected roster but we do know that Trenton Woodall-Jones has been scoring in bulk for Fridley putting up 28 points a game.

Weekend's Best. The event of the weekend is The Big Stage. And that event we have Orono and Cretin-Derham Hall which is surely the game of the week. Both teams are undefeated and they both are making a push to the top of the rankings. Here are the match-ups!

[player_tooltip player_id='1484016' first='Brady' last='Wooley'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1310206' first='Tommy' last='Ahneman']. Two of the best bigs in the state going head to head. Tommy is stronger and bigger, Wooley pry a bit more agile. It will be interesting to see how they do with each other's length on one another.

[player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2126094' first='Ty' last='Schlagel']. Nolan is a little shorter but he is the stronger of the two. CDH will pry have to guard Nolan with a forward if they are in man because of his size at guard. Both should be able to put up good numbers for their teams.

Gavin McGuirk vs Monteff Dixon. Gavin is a nice surprise this year while Dixon is bigger, stronger, and has been varsity contributing for four years now. Both are forwards, Dixon will do more in the paint, Gavin all around.

[player_tooltip player_id='1391203' first='Mitchell' last='Kauch'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III']. Kauch is your definition of a steady high school player while Mitchell is a big name prospect. Kauch has had a great start to the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2424180' first='Grant' last='Hansen'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2569249' first='Julian' last='Smith']. The two sophomores that have had nice starts to the season! Both bring energy.

Bang For the Buck. This is surely the Big Stage at Totino-Grace. Here are the games!
