The Panthers' junior guard had a solid game in a win over Sammamish, draining several catch-and-shoot threes and also showing some really good moments scoring through defenders inside. He hit some quick spins getting downhill to get middle and score, but also showed that same move, slowed down and stronger, adjusting to the defense and finishing in different ways. He whipped out some clean moves downhill that complimented some outside shooting from other teammates.

Fischer looked pretty composed against Ballard, sinking a few threes, converting with different shots in the midrange, and playing with good patience and ball security. He kept their offense flowing and building by keeping the rock clean and allowing the offense to flow without delays. Fischer also did a great job recognizing and capitalizing on space to score the rock efficiently.

Andreas left his mark on their game against Eastmont, scoring inside and out, and playing with great change of pace that opened up a lot of windows to make plays. He also looked pretty solid from 3-point range, knocking in a few early on without hesitation. But Andreas' strength is getting into the paint and making plays and that all stems from his speed and shiftiness to adjust in traffic and work in tight areas.

Medina is an undersized guard at 5-foot-7 but he plays with big energy and was a big factor for Grandview in a competitive game against West Valley. He's a quick kid and usually does a good job finding space to drive inside but this game he took most of his shots from the perimeter. Even as a smaller guard, he finds ways to create space and gets great lift on his jumpers to counter any size lost to his defender. He was hitting a lot of pull-ups and gives them a great spark when he has the ball.

Hunt was easily his team's most creative player in their matchup against Bainbridge, which led to a pretty balanced offensive game. He shot the three-ball at a good rate, worked inside and drew fouls with his creativity and patience, but also does a great job at drawing defenders up by attacking gaps in order to set up teammates in more space.

Bomet came in off the bench and immediately started wreaking havoc against Kennedy. He got a couple of quick deflections, then tipped out a rebound that led to a breakaway bucket, and continued to win possessions and start breaks with his hustle and quickness to the ball. He was one of the more impressive defenders in the game and also showed off some creativity and athleticism on some downhill finishes.

Kennedy ended up getting blown out by Garfield when the final buzzer sounded, but there were a lot of really good moments and competitive basketball played by the Lancers. One kid in particular who showed up with a competitive edge was Noel. He looked completely unfazed by the talent on the other side of the floor, using his quickness to get to space and out of pressure, identifying passing lanes quickly to zip passes through the defense, and really showing a slippery quality with the rock that helped him maneuver around and through defenders.
