SEPA Prospects to Watch on Sunday at Kobe Bryant Classic

Coughlin can play on the perimeter where he can splash threes all day or operate in two-man game action. He is also comfortable working from the elbows as a scoring threat or distributor. In close Coughlin can generate offense along the baseline or in the dunker spot. Plus, Coughlin owns the length and wingspan to score via post ups or the offensive glass. Now this versatile and speedy guard is ready to become a household name. Rodriguez can burn at both guard spots and play on the wing. He possesses tight handles as well as excellent court vision, so Rodriguez excels as a distributor. Starling does it all on the basketball court. He can serve as a pass first primary ball handler or play off the ball and score in bunches. In the half-court Starling will drain threes or get to his mid-range spots off the bounce. He is also a transition phenom who will not hesitate to finish with a slam. Starling is a fantastic rebounding guard and a plus defender too. He opened the 2024-25 season by posting 18 ppg. at the Jack Schott Tip-Off event and being named to the All-Tournament team. Varella is a quick guard with a solid frame who can score at all three levels in the half court. Varella also owns the handles and speed to push the rock in transition for scores and assists. When he looks to score on the fast break, Varella can finish through contact. Varella is a high IQ prospect and a vocal leader.
