Talon is arguably the best player in the entire Northwest Conference and had a phenomenal game to start his senior year. Meridian battled against Bear Creek and has to fight hard to comeback and win the game. With the Trojans down by 2 points with the clock ticking, they found their guy. Jenkins nailed a 3 at the top of the key to secure the win for Meridian. He finished with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Getchell surprised people by staying close to Arlington in the season opener, almost sneaking out the win. Bubba is an electric guard who can score from all 3 levels and keep the team on his back the whole game. He provides energy on both ends, playing elite defense on opposing teams best players. He finished the game 26 points, a game high for both teams.

Brant transitions from the football field to the basketball court extremely smoothly, being a natural athlete. Heppner showed he can play multiple positions on the court, bringing up the ball down the court to create different matchup options for the Lions. Brant dominated their first game, having 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists on the game.

Logan's game has grown a tremendous amount over the summer since last season, being able to handle the ball better and get to his spots smoother. He can shoot from deep consistently but also attacks downhill from the wing at a high level. He finished with 30 points and 8 rebounds in the win.

Jaden's work on his game is undeniable. He is always in the gym perfecting his craft and working on how to improve his game. Ghoreishi scores from all 3 levels and can defend multiple positions, being a valuable asset to his team. During his first game of the season, he had 25 points, 7 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 assists during the game.
