Efficiency is the name of the game and nobody did it better than Gregg on Wednesday. The 2027 wing had 22 points on 9/10 shooting from the floor and took a bunch of set shots that fit within the flow of the offense. North Oldham did an excellent job of moving the basketball and Gregg was the play finisher for them, with a handful of corner 3-pointers and a few buckets from the elbow area as well. Gregg also got himself some easy looks by simply running the floor and either getting fed the ball in transition or getting early position for second chance opportunities. Was really impressed by the style of basketball North Oldham played and they earned their win with a strong second half push fueled by Gregg.

Scoring a game high 26 points on 6 made 3-pointers, Castlen did his part in keeping Butler County competitive in a loss on the road to Louisville Fairdale. I was impressed with Castlen's efficiency and confidence shooting the basketball when he was left open. With the defense swarming to [player_tooltip player_id='1229151' first='Ty' last='Price'], Castlen reaped the rewards with open looks that he converted. Making shots from both corners of the court, that was the area of the court where he found the most success.

Wright came out and dominated in the first half in a variety of ways. Wright has a ton of physical tools and grabbed a handful of rebounds and used his strength to score at the rim. He also flashed ball handling ability and pull-up shooting. He was the key to Fairdale getting a big early lead that they held on to for the remainder of the game. After that dominant first half Wright was quiet in the second half, if Wright can become consistent and bring the same energy and production he did in the first half all the time, we're looking at a prospect who has the potential to be a nationally ranked recruit if he puts his tools together.

Newport got dominated by Bryan Station but Turner was an easy choice for a standout player despite the loss. Early in the game, Turner had a nice drive where he spun and finished with his left hand. He also had a dunk and right-handed finish off a drive. On the defensive end of the court was where he really shined. The box score only credited him with four blocks but I thought he had at least five in the first half alone. Turner was protecting the rim with his length and timing to contest guards looking to get to the basket. Turner also did this without fouling very often, a tough skill for young bigs to master. Turner is a Division I target who will be closely monitored by regional programs this summer.
