Unsigned senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1370628' first='Parker' last='Renault'] led the way with 21 points in the victory. Parker has a grown a bit in height over the past year. He really likes to play faceup when given the opportunity, but he started to play with his back to the basket some. He feels most comfortable stepping out and playing as a faceup 4 man. He showcased a few turnaround jumpers here today in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2899212' first='Matthew' last='Gladden'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2420724' first='Joshua' last='Gladden'] both ended up in double digits here tonight. The slender-sleek Ward was able to at times today to play for guard spots in the backcourt. Gavin shoots the 3-ball at the goo clip from beyond the arc. He was able to showcase off some mid-range game off the bounce. Gavin handled the ball up the floor at times today when called onto be a point guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2554089' first='William' last='Rose'] was the only bright spot here today for First Baptist. William really brought a strong effort and work ethic to the table despite his team losing. He was able to finish at the bucket with his righthand.

Ward Drops 40 Points:

[player_tooltip player_id='1669880' first='Bryce' last='Ward'] and his Cathedral Academy teammates had little trouble in a win over Northwood Academy here today. McFadden an undersized post player uses his body to stir up contact and play around the basket. Terence has great hands to catch anything thrown in his direction.

Landsharks Drop Cobras:

The Oceanside Collegiate Landsharks secured a victory in the nightcap of the Lowcountry Showcase. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1206191' first='Jake' last='Thomas'] led the charge with 16 points and several rebounds down low. Thomas brings such a great work ethic and blue-collar demeanor to the floor for the Landsharks. He does a great job of rebounding the ball outside of his area. Jake was able to use a head-fake move around the bucket or simply drive it with 2-3 dribbles from the free throw line at times. Thomas really understands on how to use his body down low in paint.

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1513456' first='Abe' last='Davinroy'] had things going today from behind the arc. Jones needs time to set his feet while shooting the ball at a good percentage clip. Carson played aggressive all game long here today while jumping on the deck for loose balls at times. Jones finished the game with 11 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2399093' first='Ty'Rek' last='Dawson'] another senior on this Landsharks roster finished with 10 points in the win. Dawson does a nice job of elevating up on his jump-shot. Ty'Rek has a nice pullup-jumper a at times he likes to use in his arsenal. Dawson can really be a rangy defender on the ball at times.

The Cane Bay HS Cobras really couldn't get nothing all night long.
