<p>Thanksgiving week I attended five tournaments and one stand alone game for exactly 24 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central HS, <strong>Beyond Basketball Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament</strong> at Moon Valley, <strong>Millennium at Sandra Day O'Connor, Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Sentinel Holiday Classic</strong> at Seton Catholic and Horizon Honors and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A long and lean wing with plus four wingspan. He sees the court well to make plays and gets many steals and deflections with those long limbs. He shoots it well with mid-range jumpers, his three ball off the catch is looking better and he dunks the ball easily on the break. He scored 16 points.</p>

<p>A shooting combo guard can light up the scoreboard. He is a three level scorer with the floater game, pull-ups off the dribble from mid to the three. He also has a very polished floater game and rebounds well for position. He is a better passer then he gets credited for and scored 20 points.</p>

<p>A powerful wing is the heart and soul of the small school. He will grab out of area rebounds and scores on put backs in the paint. He will hit the catch three, find teammates with nice court vision and will score strong and-1's in traffic. He scored 15 points.</p>

<p>A good sized combo guard can find teammates for an open shot. He is sneaky athletic to rebound and will even block shots. He will get downhill and changes speeds well. He smartly plays off of two-feet and will make a play. </p>

<p>A highly skilled power forward plays inside and out. He scores thru contact, he can step out and shoot the three and has good hands to make tough catches in traffic to score. He rebounds in his area at a good clip and he compliments their guards well. He scored 13 points. </p>

<p>A skilled combo guard can score multiple ways with euro moves to the basket with a sneaky burst, mid-range pull-ups and catch threes. He takes pressure off of Miles to score the ball. He scored 10+ points. </p>

<p>A strong combo guard can shoot it from mid to the three and uses his body, skill and strength to fall away in the paint. He will make good reads to teammates with drive and kicks and slip it thru the defense in traffic. He scored 10+ points. </p>

<p>A thicker guard with a little size. He can score with tear drops, tough euro steps in traffic. grab a rebound and go coast to coast and find a teammate with a good feel to make a play. He also has strong hands to rip some pockets. He scored 10 points. </p>

<p>A thicker guard/wing who can shoot it plus get to the rim. He will blow by his defenders and uses his frame and strength to score thru the contact. He can also make plays for his teammates as he will drive and kick for assists. </p>

<p>A big scoring night for the sophomore guard with 19 points. He can pull-up from mid-range and catch and shoot from the three point line off the catch or off of ball fakes. He will fall away and get to the free throw line. He is also a sneaky good passer and hustles on defense. </p>

<p>A thicker framed power forward is a plus rebounder who knows how to seal and go to work with his left hand. He uses good post footwork and he can score inside and plays with a good motor. He will run the court well for transition points and he gives them a much needed post presence. </p>
