There were a number of remarkable individual performances around the state last week. Below we take a look at eight of the top Class 3A showings from the second week of action in a series that we plan to continue throughout the year, hopefully without too many repeats!

2026 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1765514' first='Noah' last='Conley'] (Heelan) -- 27 points (9-13 FG, 5-7 3P, 4-6 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists [vs. Sioux City North]

In a rivalry game against his former school, Conley showed out, scoring a ridiculously efficient 27 points and showing the ability to do so from all three levels. A talented guard who shoots it well off the bounce and gets to the rim at a high clip, he was dominant in the Crusaders win.

2026 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2731814' first='Brady' last='Harr'] (Hampton-Dumont-CAL) -- 26 points (9-19 FG, 1-3 3P, 7-10 FT), 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks [vs. AGWSR]

A physical forward who loves to rebound, Harr has stepped into his older brother's shoes and been really good as a rebounder, interior scorer, and rim protector for the Bulldogs. This outing against an overmatched AGWSR team figures to be just one of several double-doubles he'll put up this season.

2025 SF [player_tooltip player_id='1759943' first='Braylon' last='Thomsen'] (Assumption) -- 26 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3P, 3-4 FT), 6 rebounds, 1 assist [vs. Bettendorf]

Thomsen is one of the most intriguing under-the-radar prospects in the state, with nice size, length, and shotmaking on the wing. He put it all together against the Bulldogs last week, showing confidence in his 3-point stroke, providing some versatility on the defensive end, and controlling the game as a scorer.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2413532' first='Kellen' last='Haverback'] (Mount Vernon) -- 25 points (9-13 FG, 1-4 3P, 6-6 FT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks [vs. Benton]

Mount Vernon has been one of the most pleasant surprise teams in the class to start the season, and Haverback has been a big reason why. A talented junior wing who can score from all three levels, he's made a big impact on the game on the defensive end with his length in addition to being a versatile three-level scorer and playmaker.

2025 PG [player_tooltip player_id='1874777' first='Griffin' last='Lott'] (West Delaware) -- 24 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3P, 12-15 FT), 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals [vs. Williamsburg]

Lott was really good against the Raiders, constantly looking to attack the rim and get to the free-throw line. He's a good ball-handler who plays with pace, and he can absorb contact and finish through it around the rim.

2025 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2511498' first='Tyson' last='Shivers'] (Boone) -- 18 points (7-7 FG, 4-5 FT), 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks [vs. Ballard]

Going up against the top-ranked team in the class, Shivers was really, really good on both ends of the floor, going a perfect 7-7 from the floor en route to a dominant double-double. He's a good athlete with some serious bounce that he uses to dominate the glass on both ends of the floor.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1978115' first='Trey' last='Bryte'] (ADM) -- 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 3P), 10 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals [vs. Carroll]

The junior guard flashed some impressive playmaking against the Tigers, falling one assist shy of a triple-double. He has done a great job so far this season in a primary playmaking role, limiting turnovers, scoring from all three levels, and controlling the glass on both ends of the floor.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765508' first='Cameron' last='Boyd'] (Storm Lake) -- 12 points (4-12 FG, 0-1 3P, 4-4 FT), 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal [vs. Spirit Lake]

Classmate [player_tooltip player_id='1765515' first='Jaidyn' last='Coon'] is the one who garners the headlines, and rightfully so, but Boyd's stat-sheet stuffing abilities were on full display against Spirit Lake, coming close to a triple-double against the Indians. A talented guard with good size, he uses that size advantage to see over the defense and control the glass.
