Conlon is a stretch-4 prospect who stuffed the stat book last season while pushing Devon Prep to the 3A state title. On Saturday, his well-rounded skill set was once again on full display in DP's win over Don Bosco (NJ). To be honest, Conlon was the best player on the floor in this contest. Conlon scored at every level on his way to 21 points. His ability to shoot off the dribble was especially impressive. His positioning skills and tenacity enabled Conlon to dominate the glass at both ends (10 rebounds). Plus, Conlon displayed excellent court vision and creative passing skills.

On Saturday Green continued to cement his reputation as one of the most accurate 3-point shooters in the region. Against Malvern Prep, Green splashed for triples on his way to 16 points total. This lefty owns textbook mechanics and quick trigger. Those assets combined with his continuous off ball movement made Green difficult to guard on Saturday. Green also ran as a primary ball handler at times. In that role, Green displayed tight handles and solid court vision as he pushed the rock on the fast break and directed half-court sets. In the fall, Green picked up an offer from Georgian Court (D2).

To say Harken is having an impressive first month of the season is an understatement. He is averaging 21 ppg. and already posted a 30-piece against Hun School (NJ). Harken's stellar play continued yesterday as poured in 21 points against Archbishop Wood. Harken hit jumpers from all over the floor and worked the offensive glass for points too. Still, what grabbed our attention the most was Harken's ability to attack the rim off the bounce. The combination of his crafty handles and physicality enabled Harken to get to his spots for buckets in close.

In our preview of the Diane Mosco Shootout, I highlighted Phillips as a player to watch. He made me look good yesterday by scoring 20 points in Wood's win over Malvern Prep. Phillips excelled in transition where his ability to exploded to the rim produced a few SportsCenter worthy finishes. Phillips was extremely effective at producing points off the bounce in the half-court too. When defenders sagged off Phillips, he drained jumpers. At times Phillips operated as a primary ball handler and held his own in the face of tenacious pressure defense from Malvern Prep.
