Colson is a dynamic lead guard who is being overlooked on the talented the Saints' roster. He transferred to NG this past summer and has gelled quickly with his new teammates. On Saturday Colson came out firing against Central York. He popped two threes and tallied 8 points in the first quarter (13 total on the game). When he was not scoring, Colson got into the paint and then executed kick out passes or slipped dimes to the dunker spot. Colson thrived in pick-n-roll action too.

McErlane's senior campaign is off to a tremendous start as the multi-skilled guard has posted several double-digit scoring games. That trend continued Saturday as McErlane posted 15 points and 9 rebounds against Archbishop Wood. McErlane drained a couple of threes and scored in transition too. However, it was the hustle plays he made as well as his non-stop motor that really impressed. McErlane was a true two-way standout on Saturday as he knifed through passing lanes for steals, dove on the floor loose balls, blocked a couple of shots, and played menacing defense. He was a vocal leader for Malvern Prep too.

The top unsigned power forward in the region is out to a fast start in 2024-25. Last week he registered 31 points and 9 rebounds in CY's win over Spring Grove. This past Saturday Rill scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in CY's win over Neumann-Goretti. Rill did the bulk of his damage in the lane where he was unstoppable on dives to the rim, post ups and the offensive glass. Additionally, this big lefty displayed a high IQ as he was quick to recognize double teams and then move the ball to an open teammate.

Rines is a multi-skilled stretch-4 prospect who is effective as a scorer and distributor. On Saturday it was his scoring that really grabbed our attention. Rines posted 20 points, seven of which came in overtime during Upper Dublin's upset of previously undefeated Coatesville. Rines buried a triple at the beginning of the OT session that was the kick start to UD's upset bid. During regulation, Rines produced points in the mid-range as well as via the offensive glass. Even though Rines had a hot hand, when the opportunity to move the ball came along, he did not hesitate to drop creative dimes on teammates.
