With 350 players, there is bound to be some new talent that was eventually going to be discovered.

There were 38 new players and here are some of the standouts that are not top-10 for position but are very good players in their own right.

Here are 7 newcomers from the last three months that are off the radar:

[player_tooltip player_id='2674646' first='Micah' last='Thurman'] Cicero Prep (Pictured)

He is basically the definition of off the radar in the AIA as he plays for a 1A school and most, including myself, have never heard of him. He has a chiseled frame with wider shoulders and rebounds the ball like a madman with his easy springs and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2620718' first='Dovantae' last='Powell'] Casa Grande

A strong framed combo guard with good feel and skill. He will set the table for his teammates with nice court vision and score. He has a pretty shooting stroke from the three point line and in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674073' first='Diego' last='Moorehead'] Valley Vista

A long and lean face-up forward plays both spots up front. He runs the floor, has a little athleticism and can shoot it. He will rattle off triples one by one off the catch and loves the corner shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628981' first='Mark' last='Duguid'] Liberty

A stronger power forward is the muscle up front for the Lions. They have many top guards and he provides that strength to rebound, carve out space and he scores on offensive rebound put backs or gets to the free throw line.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674081' first='Jagger' last='Cockrell'] Mountain Ridge

A face-up forward can play multiple positions for the Mountain Lions. He has the fluidity to play the wing and some strength to play inside the paint. He will rip thru and go to work or hit the three with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628780' first='Byron' last='Lobmeyer'] Willow Canyon

Another very strong West Valley post player who compliments their talented guards. He will gain position and use his size and brawn to rebound and score thru any contact that comes his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420182' first='Tate' last='Alberts'] Catalina Foothills

A high IQ scoring lead guard who can facilitate and score. He will smartly change speeds to get to the basket and has a burst. He knows how to utilize the pick and roll game and will find a teammate. He can also shoot it from the perimeter from mid to the three.
