Thankful For The Juniors

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It's the week of Thanksgiving! It's a time to remember all that we are thankful for. I get to cover literally thousands of athletes from across the country and in doing so, I've come across so many that I'm thankful for. I'm going to narrow a list of hundreds down to just a few examples and give you some basketball related reasons why.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>* This one is tough, as I've coached many 2026's. But there's another part of that trend. They've all been awesome young men. That doesn't happen by accident. [player_tooltip player_id='1588161' first='Cameron' last='Ryans'] fits that trend with perfection. He quietly developed his game throughout his high school career and has become a premier prospect in this state. Ryans is a versatile and unselfish athlete that just wants to be his best and be a winner. I've never even heard a whisper of negativity anywhere near him. Charter carries himself with class and that is evident in the way he plays the game of basketball. Charter thrives when his teammates are successful, and he knows it. He's an elite passer that can over the top of the defense. I'm very thankful that I've had the chance to get to know this young man, as a person as a player. Because quite frankly, he's awesome at them both. Kohler plays with endless energy and is a true leader on the floor. He's in constant attack mode when he's on the floor and thrives in a fast paced game. The best part is, when a practice or game comes to an end you can tell that he slows down and enjoys the moment. On the court, his downhill game is really effective and just as fun to watch. Richardson is even more impressive off the basketball court. He's very humble and appreciative of all the opportunities that come his way. I'm glad that those chances are coming, because this young man deserves success.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
