Erissson was a varsity contributor a year ago for Sioux Falls Lincoln, but I believe he takes a huge leap in his Junior season. He could be one of the top scorers and three-point makers in AA this season. He has upside to go for 20+ any given night. A combination of shot-making from DEEP range and next play mentality, make for him to be a feared scorer with the ability to put up big scoring games. I think he rounds out to be a D2 prospect.

Skogsberg is a transfer from Class A Vermilion to Class AA Sioux Falls Roosevelt. He has all the talent in the world, and if things align well with his change of team and scenery, he could put together a breakout campaign. He showed at some offseason showcases that he can ball with the best and standout in those types of situations. Skogsberg is a lefty baller with a complete offensive game with unlimited range as a shooter. His ability to finish and take on contact impressed me as well. He can board-and-go, where he becomes a dangerous distributor as an up-court passer. It's still unclear what his role will be with the team, but if he's given the green light, I think he could put AA ball on notice.

I believe Larson, who has been waiting his turn at Harrisburg, delivers as one of the top three-point shooters in AA this season. He's shown a quick and accurate shot from range this offseason. A quick-trigger and flick of the wrist type of shot that looks effortless and consistent. I think he takes on the VanBockern role as a floor stretcher for Harrisburg.

Nuttbrock is one of the top upcoming prospects in terms of raw athletic ability. He's also developing and consistently improving his skills and shot-making. A willing defender that will get in a stance and buckle-down and compete. I think he takes on an assertive role for Sioux Falls Jefferson from the wing spot, where he will be aggressive taking it at the rim and show the ability to make shots from all over the floor. He could also emerge as one of Jefferson's top rebounders.

Painter is one of the most physical and big young guards in the state. He hasn't had the varsity opportunity quite yet, but when he's on the floor in any given situation he usually delivers with his physicality and aggressive play style. His shot has improved and his shots are falling more consistently. He could emerge as a bench guy that comes into the game and make a lot of noise on a per-minute basis.

McClemans, I predict will be one of those prospects that will come out of nowhere and emerge as one of the top AA varsity players. Watertown will need a new group of players to step up and I think Jackson will be one of the main guys to do so. He has the ability and aggressiveness on the court to really make some noise. An aggressive and assertive player with the ball in his hands.

I don't have a perfect handle of what type of lineup Yankton will throw out there at this point in time in the preseason, but O'Brien is a guy I like and I think, deserving of a mention. An athletic wing type that can compete and get off the floor. An attacking offensive game from the wing. I think he puts together a solid season.

Costain had a breakout offseason with [program_tooltip program_id='2222672' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy'], earning himself an offer from NAIA Dakota Wesleyan. He'll be the new interior presence for Harrisburg after waiting in the wings for his opportunity behind Phipps. I think Costain delivers.

I think Vavruska takes a big leap in his Sophomore season after having varsity experience for Spearfish as a Freshman. He's a long wing that can setup and be a knockdown shooter from three. If he takes the next step as an attacker from the perimeter, he could be tough to handle. One of the top up-and-coming AA prospects. He played a little tentative as a Freshman, and if he takes on a scorer's mindset, he will be put on notice.

Tea Area is now a Class AA team with a lot to prove. I think Grifin has a monster season as an overall do-it-all prospect at the AA level. He can play all over the floor, and his ability as a passer stood out this offseason. That goes without mentioning that he can score from all over the floor and is a big-time rebounder as well. He'll be the go-to and main playmaker for Tea Area — and just a Sophomore.
