So today we want to review four of the top uncommitted power forward prospects in SEPA's Class of 2025 (presented in alphabetical order). College coaches who are interested in the below players need to make a move immediately because these big fellas will not be on the board much longer.

When you combine his outstanding performances at the DMV Live event in June with his impressive games during recent fall ball action, we are shocked that Alston-Nelson is still available. This athletic prospect with impressive size can stroke jumpers from all over the court and work the offensive boards for points. He is quick to recognize size mismatches and then take advantage of the situation by posting up the smaller defender. Alston-Nelson also runs the floor well, so he is an effective secondary break scorer. His 19 points and 8 rebounds performance against Potomac School at the DMV Live tournament was extremely impressive.

Brown is a developing power forward who posted a breakout stretch of games this fall. Included in his stellar fall ball runs was a 23-point performance at the CBG JUCO / Prep Showcase. Brown is an athletic and quick prospect who possesses imposing size, a large wingspan, and explosive leaping ability. With his length and solid frame, Brown can finish strong from the baseline and the dunker spot. Brown has shown flashes of a jumper with range out to the arc. At the other end of the court, Brown is a tenacious rebounder and an intimidating rim protector. The upside on Brown is ridiculous and college coaches need to clock in now.

In August, Hines capped off a fantastic summer by being named as a standout performer at the Hoop Group Invite Only Camp. Now it is time for college coaches to stop sleeping on this 6'8”, 220-pound prospect with his speed, athleticism, and a non-stop motor. Hines scores in transition significantly more than other power forwards in SEPA. He will not hesitate to complete a fast break by dunking on an opponent. In the half-court, Hines (12 ppg. in 2023-24) can play bully ball in close and then score with either hand. He can also attack the cup off the dribble and work the offensive glass for second chance opportunities. On defense Hines is a plus defender who can switch 2 through 5.

Rill holds offers from several D2 programs, so it is only a matter of time before he is off the board. On offense Rill is unstoppable in close. His extensive bag of low post moves enables him to finish at the rim with authority or a soft touch. In either scenario, Rill can score through contact. His face up game has developed into a legitimate weapon and he can work the offensive boards for put backs. Rill's mid-range game is highly underrated too. This past summer Rill was the 2024 MADE Hoops Circuit DPOY. So he is a major plus player at the end of the court too. In short, Rill is the best two-way power forward still available.
