Today, the NEPSAC Profiles series continues with a look at The Rivers School.

Located in Weston, Massachusetts, Rivers is an independent, coeducational, preparatory school that competes in the NEPSAC B division.

Rivers will be led this winter by [player_tooltip player_id='1489265' first='Andrew' last='Alekseyenko'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1529125' first='Ryan' last='Altman'].

Alekseyenko, who'll head to Colgate in the fall, is one of the top combo forwards in New England. At 6'8", he thrives on the offensive end of the floor as a mobile hub who can operate out of the post, at the elbows, or behind the arc. He's a gifted three level scorer, does a good job of moving the ball, and can control the glass on both ends of the floor.

Altman, the Penn commit is a big time athlete that has great positional size for an off guard. He's a microwave scorer from behind the arc, can operate as a secondary playmaker, and knows how to get downhill off the bounce. He's a tough wing defender that thrives at being disruptive in passing lanes and shows the ability to rebound above the rim in spac.

Below are four more prospects that should have a major impact for the Red Wings:

[player_tooltip player_id='2569687' first='Drew' last='Carlson']

Carlson, one of New England's more impressive prospects in the class of 2028, has the ability to run an offense while keeping defenses honest with his ability to make shots from the perimeter. He plays under control, knows how to change speeds in the half court, and impresses as an on ball defender on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569692' first='Patrick' last='Costello']

A 6'4" wing, Costello is one of the better young perimeter scorers in the region. He's a skilled marksman from behind the arc, can finish above the rim on the break, and makes quick decisions with the ball in his hands. His positional size and length provide him with the tools he needs to defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325737' first='Robby' last='Fiore']

Fiore, who will head to Babson next year, is an explosive combo guard that thrives when attacking the rim in transition and in the half court. He has terrific burst off the bounce, can rise up to finish above bigger defenders, and does a great job of knocking down shots from the perimeter. His athleticism also shines through on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553823' first='Chais' last='Harriette']

Harriette, a 6'1" lead guard, plays with quick twitch athleticism. He seemingly has the ball on a string in the half court, does a great job of changing speeds and direction, and utilizes a quick first step to get downhill. He has the ability to get into the paint and find cutters or perimeter scorers for easy baskets, proving to be a true facilitator.
