Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
I didn’t realize how much of a freak athlete Fiore was until tonight. He flies on takes to the rim and gets about 3 feet off the ground for a routine jump shot. He had some trouble on-ball at times against the press but really excels off the ball as a shooter; His release is quick, the rotation on the ball is beautiful, and he can stroke it from anywhere inside half court. He air balled his first shot and settled right in by making 3 of his next 4 threes. Defensively, Fiore is a good on-ball defender and really understands help side rotations on the weak side.

When I first saw Fiore at the NEPSAC showcase this summer, it was his leaping ability and quick-twitch movements that really caught my eye. But it’s very clear he’s improved his outside shot since then – and thus his confidence – to a point where he has to be considered one of the best shooters in New England. Even after missing his first 3 or 4 three-pointers, Fiore was hunting shots and ended up pouring in probably a handful of threes by the end of the game against Roxbury Latin. He’s got a lightning-quick release and can shoot it off the move, two things that’ll translate quite well to Babson next season.

Fiore came off the board when he announced that he will also be attending Babson College. A big time scorer, Fiore is a quick twitch athlete that can play with or without the ball in the backcourt. He’s a dynamic vertical athlete, with a college ready frame, and the strength to impact the game in a variety of ways. He’s a three level scorer that has a clean jumper shot, can get to his spots in the mid-range, and can finish through contact at the rim. He’s a confident ball handler that can stop on a dime and does a good job of playing at different speeds. Defensively, he can guard up and down a position and is a terrific rebounder from the guard position. He’s tough, not afraid to be physical, and willing to sit in a stance to get the job done. Babson landed a big time commitment in Fiore, as the athletic guard has the potential to be among the NEWMAC’s top scorers down the line.

Robby Fiore Robby Fiore 6'2" | SG Rivers | 2025 State New E is an off-ball guard who stands out with his shooting and quick-twitch athleticism. He can launch shots off the dribble in the mid-range, getting to his spots with his bursty movements. Fiore’s release is pure and can knock down three-pointers off screens or in catch-and-shoot scenarios. He can also create off-the-bounce on his drives, speeding to the rim and getting elevation on his attempts at the cup with an impressive vertical. Fiore can make quick reads with the ball at times as well, identifying cutters to the rim and finding open shooters on the perimeter. He competes hard on defense and stays in front of defenders with quick feet. Fiore’s shooting gives him a high floor, but his athleticism is a ceiling raiser and he should monitored closely going forward.
