With the IHSA basketball season starting next week. I compiled a list of seniors that coaches should have on a list for recruiting this year. I started with a list of wing players who would be worth a look.

Julien Doyle (Simeon) 6'5

Athletic scoring wing who plays hard on both sides of the ball. Missed the beginning of his junior season with a leg injury. Has the ability to attack off the bounce and make shots from three.

Matas Gaidukevicius (Lemont) 6'5

Lanky wing who shoots it well from three. Matas has good basketball instincts and is a threat to dunk on unsuspecting rim protectors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538974' first='Danny' last='Bennett'] (Butler) 6'3

A hardworking player who scores well around the basket. He's good at taking a bump in traffic and keeping composure to finish plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='2321397' first='TJ' last='Seals'] (Kenwood) 6'5

Physical forward who is a hound on the boards and is maybe one of the best passers while on the move. Seals has a good shooting stroke from three. College-ready body.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217980' first='Phoenix' last='Childs'] (Perspectives Leadership) 6'4

Transfer after winning a state championship. A physically imposing prospect who is wired to score from all three levels. Has eye-popping athletic ability. Childs plays with a chip on his shoulder and will be very productive as the first option.

[player_tooltip player_id='1545135' first='Shaunassey' last='Hatchett'] (Springfield Lanphier) 6'4

A tough-minded energy guy. Plays hard on defense and can cover multiple positions. He's an athlete who is accustomed to making strong plays at the basket. Most effective when slashing to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105222' first='Chayse' last='Turner'] (Lincoln Park) 6'4

An athletic wing who is smooth in the lane. Has a good shooting touch but is very good at driving the lane and scoring with acrobatic moves. A lob threat when you least expect him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2494146' first='AJ' last='Morgan'] (Vernon Hills) 6'5

A player I expect to have a breakout season. Morgan missed the travel season because of an injury. He's a physical forward who can be a stretch four or wing at the next level. He shoots it well from three and is a highlight threat for posters if you leave the lane open. Another high-motor player who is effective on both sides of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2538883' first='Justin' last='Bowen'] (Proviso West) 6'4

A very skilled basketball player who has an above-average IQ. Can play in any style of offense. Has three-level scoring capabilities.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766466' first='Adam' last='Page'] (Bloom) 6'5

Page left Hillcrest and transferred to Bloom. He adds an immediate defensive presence. A player with good length and footspeed to guard multiple positions. He adds more toughness in the front court for a team that's considered a sleeper In the south suburbs. Adam is a player you put around the basket and his activity leads to extra possessions and offensive putbacks.
