The high school season has ended and now we are moving into the spring travel team circuit where we will be covering the Prep Hoops Circuit! Before all that we wanted to look back at the 2027 post stock risers in our Market Correction Update who elevated their ranking the last few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='2632014' first='Boti' last='Szabo-Zsamaba'] (Lake Forest Academy)

Big man is a imposing presence at 6'9” that has a strong frame and good length. Seals well on the interior scoring on the block, is an excellent passer out of the post along with facing up, and is a beast on the defensive glass!

[player_tooltip player_id='2877543' first='Landon' last='Lethunya'] (Lake Forest Academy)

Super bouncy 6'9” power forward who runs the floor with ease. He is quick to the offensive glass for second chance opportunities and presents an interesting skill set heading into his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834320' first='Danny' last='Simon'] (Prospect)

The 6'6” center has long arms and a solid frame. Like how he garners deep post position, has touch on a hook shot, can play with his back to the basket, and rebounds in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2389886' first='Ben' last='Whorlow'] (Wheaton St. Francis)

Whorlow was a load down the stretch for Wheaton St. Francis helping propel them to an appearance in the super sectionals. He led them with 15 points in the sectional final win. Good size and skill level up front.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832362' first='Orville' last='Cross Jr'] (TF South)

Cross put his name on our radar early in the playoffs. The 6'4” power forward is an undersized post that will play at the college level with his sturdy frame and skilled low post game. Plays strong through contact and has touch around the cup. Spinning post moves, finishes in the pick/roll, and is a monster on the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='3572102' first='Blake' last='Blue'] (Marion)

Saw some intriguing tools from this 6'5” power forward late in the season for Marion. Like how he high points rebounds in traffic, impacts as a defender blocking shots in the paint along with on the perimeter, and moves laterally on the perimeter staying in front of his man. Potential as a spot up shooter.
