I love the potential he displays as a 6’9″ small forward for Full Package and LFA. His interior post play and defense make him more than capable of playing as a power forward with his size. But his length and athleticism to fly an over the floor can make him a great small forward, too. Catch-and-shoot potentials are definitely there.

Lethunya earned his stripes above the rim in the early evening game Saturday. The long and lanky 4 man works tangibly well with team’s elite size they present at the high school level. Defensively he came away with a couple of clean blocks and rebounded the ball while keeping it high and out of reach of defenders. On the scoring end he continued to utilize that length with an alley oop slam and another 2 handed flush on the break. Runs the floor competitively as well.

In the matchup against Mt. Carmel, Lethunya’s frame was a constant force. He displayed the fundamental tools every big should have, flashing to open areas in both the high and low post to keep the ball moving and free up cutters. His size played a key role in the screen game, making it difficult for defenders to fight through, and he showed strong footwork on rolls to the rim — finishing one with a powerful dunk after a perfectly executed setup. His athleticism allows him to be a true force above the rim.

Defensively, Lethunya contributed on the glass, positioned himself well for block opportunities, and used his length to make passing lanes difficult for opponents to navigate. His combination of size and activity gives him real impact on both ends.

Lethunya’s a lengthy 6’7” Forward that shows tons of promise. Elite-level defender that forced so many misses vs M14 down low. Added two big blocks in the 2nd half, and won almost every rebound in his area, too. His ability to play with pace, score from all three levels, and create plays for others make him a unique all-around prospect.
