This Avon team is one of the most talented you find at the class 4A level this season so picking just one top player would not do justice here. They way I see it this season, there are two on-court leaders for this team, senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='1539455' first='DeAndre' last='Lott-Hancock'] and junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561685' first='Jedidiah' last='Minnett']. These two were the leading scorers from last season with Minnett averaging a team high 12.6 points and Lott-Hancock right behind him with 10.5 points a game as well. Lott-Hancock transferred over to Avon ahead of last season and instantly made an impact on the floor with his elite athletic ability and dynamic play around the rim. Minnett was one of the breakout 2026 prospects last season being the backcourt leader and impressing with his elite playmaking skills. Together, these two, along with the rest of the team, can lead Avon to having a special season.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1565984' first='Keriawn' last='Berry']

It seems a little crazy to put a surefire division one prospect in the potential breakout category and not as the top player however do not be fooled, Berry is one of the top players on this team. The only reason I have him in this category is simply because most of the fans of Indiana high school basketball have not see this special player take the floor as of yet. Berry is transfer out of the state of Kentucky and his additional to this team takes Avon to a whole new level. A true 6'4 shooting guard, Berry has elite physical and athletic tools that most other prospects simply don't have at this level. He is going to be an x-factor for this Avon team in their hopes to make a deep state tournament run.
