What players posted big numbers on the Friday after Thanksgiving?  Here are some of the prospects that had big performances!   Brother Rice topped Joliet West 61-45 on Friday afternoon.  [player_tooltip player_id='2538898' first='Jack' last='Weigus'] continues to have a big season as the guard poured in 21 points as did The Citadel commit [player_tooltip player_id='1545120' first='Marcos' last='Gonzales'].   Crystal Lake South won by 30 points over Johnsburg 78-48.  [player_tooltip player_id='1433337' first='AJ' last='Demirov'] went for 19 points, 10 dimes, and 5 rebounds.  He is one of the top uncommitted players in the senior class.  [player_tooltip player_id='2617374' first='Cooper' last='Buelna'] notched 17 points while Tony Santarelli chipped in 15 points and 7 boards.   Glenbrook South 2027 post [player_tooltip player_id='2125637' first='Jacob' last='Fuller'] had another big game on Friday as the sophomore post went for 22 points against Hampshire.   Lake Park got a 48-45 win against Huntley.  Freddy Battaglia led the way with 22 points while Luca Stella notched 11 points.  For Huntley it was Will Dillon with 13 points and Christian Wilson going for 11 points.   Warren continues to roll as they won 67-59 against a good Deerfield squad.  Owen Squires led them in scoring with 17 points.  Super sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2323571' first='Jaxson' last='Davis'] had 15 points while senior [player_tooltip player_id='2437515' first='Jack' last='Wolf'] chipped in 11 points.   Elmwood scored a win against Stark County by a final of 63-48.  Garrett Webster notched 21 points, 4 dimes, and 3 steals.  Oliver Thornton also had a nice outing with 14 points, 8 dimes, and 8 rebounds.   Marian Catholic got a big 1-2 contribution from [player_tooltip player_id='2321398' first='Zack' last='Sharkey'] dropping 28 points while [player_tooltip player_id='2723815' first='Delan' last='Davis'] had 16 points in their 68-54 W against Hillcrest.   United Township's Connor Pustelnik went for 17 points in UT's 53-50 win against Little Village.   A pair of programs I saw on the gridiron on Friday locked up on the hardwood in Lincoln as Mt. Zion knocked off Belleville Althoff 61-53 behind 20 points and 12 boards from Illinois-Springfield commit Lincoln Koester.  Sam Driscoll contributed 17 in the win.   Annwan won over Putman County 65-38 as Maddux Heitzler went for 16 poiints.  Cole Goodley (12 points) and Brody Childs (10 points) also had nice outings.   Homewood Flossmoor continues to show their dominance early in the season with an impressive 69-52 win against Bloom.  Wofford commit [player_tooltip player_id='1774274' first='Jayden' last='Tyler'] led the way with 21 points while [player_tooltip player_id='2723823' first='Ethan' last='Howard'] (12 points), [player_tooltip player_id='2617349' first='Aiden' last='Derose'] (11 points), and [player_tooltip player_id='2105169' first='Arden' last='Eaves'] (10 points) continue to show the balance for this year's Vikings.  Bloom stars [player_tooltip player_id='1545131' first='Elijah' last='Lovemore'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2105218' first='Payton' last='Edwards'] went for 19 points and 12 points a piece.   Rock Island blew out St. Rita at the Rock Island Thanksgiving tournament as they were led by Deven Marshall with a big game in the 70-23 win.   Julian scored a win against Hinsdale South Friday at Riverside Brookfield Tournament.  Julian got 29 points from Ian Flowers while [player_tooltip player_id='2631983' first='Camren' last='Marlow'] notched 11 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2409130' first='Devin' last='Ticer'] scored 10 points.   Hersey wins a nail biter against Stevenson at Palatine Friday 57-56.  [player_tooltip player_id='1552439' first='Logan' last='Luxem'] led the way for Hersey with 15 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='2433260' first='Nick' last='Ahlquist'] and Jackson Hupp each had 10 points in the win.  For Stevenson it was star [player_tooltip player_id='1564889' first='Aidan' last='Bardic'] with 22 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2442139' first='Liam' last='Curtin'] dropped 13 points.   Benet played a game at the TOC in Washington in the middle of their other tournament where they will play St. Ignatius Saturday for the title.  In their out of state matchup with Gary West Side (IN) [player_tooltip player_id='2105390' first='Jayden' last='Wright'] led the way with 15 points while big man [player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack'] had 14 points and 3 blocks.   Glenwood topped Marion on Friday evening 40-39.  Jack Kurman led the way for Glenwood with 15 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='2815576' first='Cameron' last='Appenzeller'] is one of the best baseball players in the country.  He had 11 points and 8 boards in the win.  For Marion it was Kaden Rogowski with 18 points and [player_tooltip player_id='1766503' first='Ethan' last='Simmons'] with 14 points.   Northridge picked up a 66-31 win against South Shore.  [player_tooltip player_id='2759629' first='Jacob' last='Klatt'] had 17 points while Linus Coleman chipped in 8 points.   Oak Lawn won 3rd place in their tournament against Reavis 83-39.  [player_tooltip player_id='2433457' first='Jack' last='Dempsey'] dropped 18 points while [player_tooltip player_id='2734444' first='Marc' last='Harvey'] had 17 points.  Ali Farhan went for 11 in the win.   Immaculate Conception won 82-31 against Beecher.  Danny Fromelt led the way with 17 points and 10 boards.  Matt Sloan had 14 points and [player_tooltip player_id='2406549' first='Makai' last='Mandley'] notched 13 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='2815604' first='Andrew' last='Hill'] finished with 8 points and 7 dimes.   Jacksonville took care of business at home winning against West Hancock 64-60.  [player_tooltip player_id='2105187' first='Amaree' last='Burries'] is a high scoring guard that went for 35 points while Darren Henry had 10 points.  For West Hancock [player_tooltip player_id='2426349' first='Lewis' last='Siegfried'] led them with 18 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='2426379' first='Gavin' last='Grothaus'] went for 16 and Nolan Gooding had 12.  [player_tooltip player_id='2426366' first='Cooper' last='Knowles'] stuffed the stat sheet for 10 points, 8 boards, and 8 blocks.   St. Laurence moved to 2-0 at Quincy Tournament with a 66-39 victory against Lindblom.  [player_tooltip player_id='1766461' first='EJ' last='Mosley'] dropped 18 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='1766462' first='Zerrick' last='Johnson'] had 12 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1544818' first='Bradley' last='Stratton'] scored 11 points.   At the Hoops 4 Healing Tournament it is Rockford Guilford that won a crazy three way tie in their pool and then the title game in OT over Hinsdale Central 79-76.  Braden Chatman had another big game with 28 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='1963960' first='Jaden' last='Webster'] went for 23 points an Je'Sean Frye had 11 points.  Hinsdale Central star South Dakota commit [player_tooltip player_id='2105166' first='Vincas' last='Buzelis'] dropped 30 points.  [player_tooltip player_id='2724195' first='Dillon' last='Orozco'] had 22 while big man [player_tooltip player_id='2538930' first='Tyler' last='Thick'] finished with 13 points.   Big game for one of the state's top juniors as [player_tooltip player_id='1552393' first='Gabriel' last='Sularski'] had 21 points in a 62-45 Lemont victory against Lockport.  [player_tooltip player_id='2321410' first='Alanas' last='Castillo'] also had 15 points.   [player_tooltip player_id='1553123' first='Christian' last='Cummings'] of Rockford Christian eclipsed the 2,000 point mark in his career which is crazy considering it is just the start of his senior year!
