As we gear up for this upcoming high school season lets take a closer look at some of the players in the area and what they bring to the court. He has great footwork and quick hands which allow him to force turnovers and turn defense into offense. He's a lockdown defender who will be in your face for 94ft and won't back down from any assignment. His size and athleticism allow him to alter just about any shot which comes into the paint, and he's just a tremendous shot blocker overall. The 6'8" senior has great strength and is very quick off the floor, where he's an excellent rebounder on both ends of the court. Ellis is a tremendous defensive player who is able to guard multiple positions, and also rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the floor. He has a knack for forcing turnovers and getting out in transition, where he is very effective at finishing around the rim. This kid plays the game with energy and emotion, and is a gritty defender who will be in your face up and down the entire court. Ashley is a long, athletic prospect with great jumping ability. He's able to guard multiple positions and protect the rim down low, or defend out on the wing effectively when needed.
