The season is less than a month away and scrimmages are starting up as soon as this weekend. For a different type of season preview, I wanted to find one "X-Factor" in each of Kentucky's districts for this season. Here are 64 X-Factors for the 24-25 season, one for district in the state.

North Oldham needs to replace a ton this season and Green is possibly the next one up for the Mustangs. They've had a run of great guards the last few seasons with Dallas Roberts and Grant Neal. Hard to tell if Eli will be that level of player or not but he has flashed some potential at our events over the last year or two and could be a scholarship level player in time.

Melo Boone got the headlines for his transfer to Woodford but Jointer has made some serious strides in the last 12 months or so and looks to be a D1 talent. With his versatility and athleticism, Omari is primed for a big season for a Woodford roster that has designs on getting back to Rupp Arena.

One of the highest scoring players in the state last season that you've likely never heard of. Griffin is capable of attacking the rim or knocking down threes. He can score in transition or in the half court. Griffin is a contender for regional Player of the Year and Gallatin could sneak into Rupp Arena if they get a good regional draw.

One thing that Kentucky lacks as a whole is rim protection. [player_tooltip player_id='2175405' first='Bode' last='Stone'] can actually provide that for Simon Kenton. He's made strides on offense the last couple of seasons but Stone can make a big difference for his squad with his ability to block shots at the rim and control rebounds. If he can stay out of foul trouble and stay active on defense, Simon Kenton could make some noise in the postseason.
