The highly anticipated new edition of the class of 2027 rankings have finally been released, with 75 players including over 20 new players to the list! As I've warned before, ranking classes before their junior season is very tricky, so consider this more of a continued starting point and not a final draft, as there are plenty of players who will emerge and improve and things will change a lot over the next few years.

With that being said, here's a look at part three of the new faces in the update.

#59) [player_tooltip player_id='2624544' first='Chris' last='Mann'] | 5'11” PG | Benedictine

Mann is part of a talented young Benedictine core that is still in a rebuilding phase, but after watching him this summer it's clear to see he's a great building block for the culture they're looking to start. At 5'11” he's a tough as nails blue collar type of guard who plays with a chip on both ends of the floor, he can run the show and makes great decisions for his team and he can hit open shots from multiple levels too.

#62) [player_tooltip player_id='2570862' first='Gavin' last='Mallette'] | 6'3” SG | Catholic

Mallette is one of the younger players on a Catholic team that will be a tough out for anyone this year, and he has some great older players to learn behind and he has a lot of intriguing tools moving forward that could see him move up this list quite a bit. At 6'3” he has good size on the wing now and is likely still growing, he can drill it from deep with good form and quick release and he plays with good energy on both ends of the floor.

#64) [player_tooltip player_id='2046175' first='Alexander' last='Sidbury'] | 6'5” PF | Fairfax Christian

Sidbury is an intriguing young piece for a Fairfax Christian program that is known for producing and developing players like him over the past few years, and he has a lot of upside as he continues to grow and develop. At 6'5” with long arms there's a chance he's still growing, he plays with a great motor on both ends of the floor, he has good touch around the rim and out to the elbows and he's a very good rebounder for his size too.

#69) [player_tooltip player_id='2624545' first='Aiden' last='Pratt'] | 6'1” CG | Hayfield

Pratt is following in his brother's footsteps who won a state championship for Hayfield three years ago, and while he's behind some older guys at the moment he'll have a chance to learn and develop and will likely be a staple for this Hawks team over the next few years. At 6'1” he's got a nice frame that should fill out nicely, he's skilled as a shot maker off the ball, he can create off the bounce and he has good instincts on both ends of the floor.

#72) [player_tooltip player_id='2548662' first='Jayden' last='Pillot'] | 6'1” SF | John Champe

Pillot is coming off a freshman season where he showed a lot of flashes that he'll be a force in the next few years, and was a breakout player at the Prep Hoops VA Expo as well. He's a lanky wing who is likely still growing and has a great base skillset, he can make shots off the catch, he's a good finisher and he plays with a lot of effort too.

#74) [player_tooltip player_id='2571592' first='Milo' last='Boze'] | 5'10” PG | Catholic

Boze is another young piece on this Catholic team to keep an eye on moving forward, as he is learning from a great senior point guard and will get his spots to work within the system to learn and develop. He's a steady ball handler who handles pressure and gets them into sets, he works well in pick-and-rolls and makes good decisions in transition and he picks his spots and can score it efficiently.

#75) [player_tooltip player_id='2548307' first='Logan' last='Brooks'] | 6'2” SF | John Paul the Great

Brooks was a standout at the Prep Hoops Expo where he showed a lot of upside moving forward and will be a player to keep an eye on moving forward for a JPG team that's on the rise. At 6'2” he's a good athlete for his age and will likely get more explosive as he grows into his body, he can make open shots off the catch from deep, has a good pull-up game and plays with good energy as well.
