The time has finally come as we have updated our senior class rankings in Virginia! The new rankings feature close to 40 new players, ranking 173 players in the state.

We'll take a look at some positional breakdowns in the rankings, looking at the guards, wings and forwards rankings. Here's part three of the guards, ranking the top 5 power forwards and centers in the class.

Womack is a player we've been very familiar with and high on since he was a rising freshman at PVI, and unfortunately he got overshadowed quite a bit on one of the best teams in the country the last two years, but this summer he got his breakout chance and was so good at DMV Live he was able to commit to CAA powerhouse Towson. The 6'7” small ball four man is built in the likes of a Draymond Green, a powerful and athletic forward who can do a little bit of everything and impacts the game across the board. He's surprisingly quick with the ability to put it on the deck and use his size to clear out space when he gets downhill, he's a good playmaker with great vision, he can guard multiple positions and he's a monster on the glass as well.

4) [player_tooltip player_id='1223825' first='Francis' last='Chukwudebelu'] | 6'10” C | Oak Hill (#18 Overall)

Chukwudebelu came to Oak Hill last year as a very intriguing long term prospect, and still is one as he has a lot of things you can't teach on the basketball floor and a lot of untapped potential moving forward. The Texas native stands a legit 6'10” with a massive wing span, and he's a fluid and natural athlete who can get up and down the floor and uses his size and length on both ends of the floor. He's a very good shot blocker with terrific timing and alters everything in the post, he can play above the rim effortlessly on the offensive end, he moves his feet well defensively and he shows promise with good touch to the perimeter too.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1591318' first='Riley' last='Jacobs'] | 6'8” C | St. Stephen's St. Agnes (#11 Overall)

Jacobs has proven time and time again he's one of the top players in the DMV, and reiterated it this summer both with New World on the 3SSB Circuit and with SSSAS in DMV Live. The 6'8” big man is a tough one to matchup with as he's improved his perimeter skillset to where he can knock down shots from deep and attack closeouts off the bounce, he's an athletic finisher around the rim, he works well in post ups and defensively he moves his feet well and is a good rim protector as well. He's being highly sought after by tons of mid-major schools, and the way he's developed over the past few years he could even play his way into a high major after a few seasons.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='1273551' first='Deondrea' last='Lindsey'] | 6'8” PF | Oak Hill (#8 Overall)

Lindsey is another talented member of the Oak Hill front court that is being highly recruited by a number of high major programs, and he's going to provide a tough matchup on the EYSL for this Warriors group. While he may be smaller than some of the players he'll match up with this season, Lindsey has all the tools that make him a small ball four mismatch with his blend of strength, skill and athleticism that allows him to be very productive. He moves his feet well to guard multiple positions and he is surprisingly quick for his size, he is strong enough to clear out space and finish in traffic, he's great in transition with his athleticism and he brings a lot of toughness to his team as well.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='1494107' first='Silas' last='Barksdale'] | 6'8” PF | Woodside (#7 Overall)

Barksdale comes in as the top big man in this class after he's been absolutely dominant in the 757 over the past few years, leading Woodside to back-to-back state championships (and are favored to win again this year), and he's been a standout on the 17U EYBL Circuit the past two years with [program_tooltip program_id='2226248' first='Boo' last='Williams'] as well. The 6'8” forward who is still young for his grade has made huge strides over the past few years, and still has a lot of room to get better moving forward. He uses his length and bounce around the rim to protect it and finish above the rim, he shows good touch around the rim and out to the perimeter, he rebounds well around the rim and he plays with a good motor on both ends of the floor. He chose to stay in state and attend VCU over a host of out of area high major schools that were pursuing him too.
