The 2025 class continues to make their commitments heading into the 2024-25 season. Four players remain unsigned but highly recruited in the Top 10 in the 2025 class in the state of North Carolina. Outside of the Top 10, [player_tooltip player_id='1220115' first='Trevor' last='Best'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1382077' first='Johnniyus' last='Sharpe'] remain two highly-regarded prospects at their respective programs. Best remains a hidden gem inside the Top 20 at Word of God Academy with offers from a few different DI programs. Sharpe is another underrated name with Reidsville High who looks to win another state championship after leading the way in last year's state title game with his two-way efforts.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325765' first='Taj' last='Walters'], [player_tooltip player_id='1030026' first='Jaylen' last='Cross'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1299049' first='Da'Ron' last='Hall'] round things out in the Top 20 as the remaining unsigned 2025 prospects heading into the high school season. Walters is a well-known addition to the Moravian Prep/YNG Dreamerz rotation as is Cross who's due for a strong senior season with more talent around him now. Hall remains a highly-recruited postgrad name at Winston-Salem Christian School, San Jose State recently offered him.

Magwood remains a top target of many national programs in the college basketball landscape and recently took a visit to Auburn two weekends ago. He'll be a name to keep a close eye on at Combine Academy this season on the OTE stage. He holds a number of offers from the likes of Kansas, Wake Forest, Mississippi State and others as his stock continues to grow.

Maddox is another matchup nightmare in the making on both ends of the floor given his size and frame at 6-foot-7 on the hardwood. He's another new addition to the Combine Academy rotation due to make quite the name for himself as a two-way threat. Dayton, Georgia Tech, Illinois and Wake Forest are some of his recent offers as he's another name with Combine Academy due to grow this season on the OTE stage and beyond.

November 2nd is an important date on the recruiting calendar as it's when Denis will make his college announcement. He's down to a final seven of UNC, Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Miami, Kansas and Wake Forest following a summer which saw his stock grow a ton on the national stage with [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3']. He's a versatile guard prospect at 6-foot-5 who's shown he can operate at either guard role depending on what the defense gives him. He's got a bright future ahead of him.

Younger is probably the biggest riser out of the four in the past few months as he's sported a stronger frame and been a lot more deliberate with the ball in his hands with [program_tooltip program_id='2234929' first='1' last='of 1 Elite'] on the grassroots scene. He's a prospect who DI programs could consider a "steal" when it's all said and done given he can operate inside and out with his length and wingspan at 6-foot-5. Queens, UNC Greensboro and Samford have offered him so far.
