The OHSAA season officially starts in late November and it's about the time to start previewing the high school season. In this article we'll take a look at some teams that could have state championship upside in each Division. This is Division VI and we're spotlighting teams 6-10 in our preseason top 10 in today's article.

6. Toledo Christian

Toledo Christian lost a ton of talented seniors that made them one of the top teams in Division IV last season in Ohio. [player_tooltip player_id='1943724' first='Karter' last='Koester'] is the main returner and he'll have to gel with a lot of new faces to keep this team competitive. I think between Koester and their unselfish play and consistent winning culture, Toledo Christian will still play a role in NW Ohio's Division VI regional bracket.

7. Lima Central Catholic

This team actually beat Toledo Christian last season in the regional final in a great game to determine who would make it to UD Arena from Division VI. Sadly for Lima Central Catholic they lost star Willie Foster to Lima Sr. They do return [player_tooltip player_id='1888255' first='Jordan' last='Priddy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2800793' first='Brady' last='Parker'] but if Foster was back, this team would easily be top 3 for Division VI and would have a chance at number one.

8. Coldwater

The MAC is a powerhouse on the Gridiron with teams competing for state championships every single season. They aren't as well known on the hardwood but they still have lots of competitive teams. I think Coldwater will be a tough playoff out due to their physical multi-sport athletes that includes star [player_tooltip player_id='2792239' first='Baylen' last='Blockberger'].

9. Tri Village

[player_tooltip player_id='1729405' first='Trey' last='Sagester'] is one of the top players in all of Division VI and he can light up the scoreboard from downtown. The Patriots also run an efficient offense and usually blow out a majority of their conference competition. Non-conference tests will determine if this is a top five team in the Division and a state title contender, I could see the Patriots returning to UD Arena like they did with Layne Sarver leading the way just a few years ago.

10. Marion Local

Another MAC program that's looking for a football state championship, Marion Local has been a program that's built up quite the resume on the hardwood as well. If they will improve on this ranking, they'll need [player_tooltip player_id='1432036' first='Austin' last='Niekamp'] to dominate tough conference opponents like Coldwater and establish himself as a top small town big in Ohio.
