Thankfully for Wilton, those rumors were untrue, and following a dominant freshman season, Putman returns to lead the Beavers, who will battle it out with Mid-Prairie and Regina at the top of the RVC South.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"fontSize":"medium"} --> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>First Team</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419757' first='Bryer' last='Putman'] (Wilton): 17.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.8 steals, 2.5 blocks</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Few players in the state in the last decade have put up the type of two-way numbers that Putman did as a freshman, and following the graduation of older brother Landyn Putman, even more shot opportunities will be available for Bryer. He's a strong, skilled wing who can control the game on both ends of the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2026 [player_tooltip player_id='2520036' first='Bryce' last='Henry'] (Mid-Prairie): 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 87.5 FT%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Henry led an explosive Golden Hawks team in scoring last season, averaging over 14 points a game and showing the ability to do so from all three levels on the floor. He shoots it well off the dribble and is a talented playmaker who can break down the defense and make plays for his teammates.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1951822' first='Ace' last='Peck'] (Mid-Prairie): 13.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 41.3 3P%, 76.2 FT%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Peck was electric as an off-ball guard last season, routinely knocking down big shots from 3-point range. He buried 74 3-pointers on the season, an average of 3.4 makes per game, and he did so with pretty good efficiency.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419768' first='Tate' last='Wallace'] (Regina): 11.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 53.8 FG%</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another player in the division who made a major impact as a freshman, Wallace is an athletic forward with long arms and a strong, physical frame that he isn't afraid to throw around. He's a really good athlete who competes on the glass on both ends, finishes really well around the rim, and he can create plays with his vision out of the high post area.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2419764' first='Oaklan' last='Jirak'] (Wilton): 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.8 steals</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jirak was also really good as a freshman for the Beavers, scoring from all three levels with pretty good efficiency numbers, posting 48-36-61 shooting splits.
