The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is one of the best chances to see young talented prospects from the state. PHI had Steve Parham at the event in person all weekend and has been posting coverage. I wasn't able to make it in person, but went back to watch the first game of every single player in the event on Baller TV. That is what is represented in these evaluations. Here is Pangos: Scotty B's 2028 PG/Combo Standouts!

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2467517' first='Darrius' last='Hawkins'] (Homewood Flossmoor – 2028)

Hawkins is one of the more hyped lead guards coming into high school. What caught our attention watching him was his passing and court vision. In this setting he really showed that he can get others involved putting them in positions to make the finishing play.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2531964' first='Angelo' last='Adams'] (St. Rita – 2028)

Adams is a super tiny guard at 5'4” that can really pass the rock. Crisp dimes on a consistent basis finding his teammates whether in the half court or transition. Works well around ball screens in the pick/roll. Pushes in the open floor and drops dimes to teammates. Has shake off the bounce scoring with soft touch finishes and layups. Scrappy defender who is willing to stick his nose into get a steal.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2531979' first='CJ' last='Pittman'] (Walter Payton – 2028)

Pittman is a well-built 5'11” lead guard that is among the better on ball guards early in the process. Capable shooter from three, can take steals turning them into finishes, and kicks to shooters off drives.

At 5'8” this point guard from Marian Catholic is a smaller guard that is shifty with the ball off the bounce. Also showed some nice passing skills dishing off to his big men in the dunker spot.

PG Lawrence Alexander (Peoria Manual – 2028)

Alexander is a point guard that was most adept at getting in the lane where he made nifty layups, and-1s, and had a nice soft touch floater game.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2389398' first='Orlando' last='Edwards'] (Peoria – 2028)

This 5'10” point guard is a fun watch. Left handed point guard that plays with a ton of flair. Opened up with a crisp three then followed it with a slick step back from 10 feet putting his man on skates. Slick ball handler that plays well in transition with his speed.

PG Devaun Bates (De La Salle – 2028)

Bates is a 5'10” point guard that is a scrappy defender, acrobatic finisher, and quick passer. He is a pushes the tempo and gets to the rim.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2531995' first='Ezenwa' last='Nwagwu'] (St. Rita – 2028)

The smaller 5'9” point guard presents quickness off the bounce winning getting in the lane. Solid mid-range shooter and is an active defender with his hands getting steals.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2349413' first='Elijah' last='Crater'] (Plainfield South – 2028)

Lead guard at 5'8” that is at his best getting in the mid-range where he elevates for mid-range jump shots. Also has some crafty finishing moves around the hoop.

PG [player_tooltip player_id='2963414' first='Stephen' last='Dixon'] Jr (De La Salle – 2028)

The 5'9” smaller guard has good length which suggests he should continue to grow. Slick passes to finishers around the hoop and a sweet step back in the mid-range.

PG Gavin Cigrand (Downers Grove South – 2028)
