Last year's breakout star for Cathedral returns for his senior season looking to lead the Irish to major success, this time at the Class 3A level. 2025 four-star wing [player_tooltip player_id='1525663' first='Brady' last='Koehler'] has been one the top breakout players across the country over the past year and recently committed to staying in state and playing for Notre Dame at the college level. Before he does so, he brings back 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game from a season ago and will return as Cathedral's most productive player along with 2026 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. Koehler is one of the more versatile players you will see in the state this season and will be a contender to win Indiana Mr. Basketball.

Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']

Speaking of Aldridge Jr., he has a chance to be the breakout player for this Cathedral Fighting Irish squad this upcoming season. The physical left-handed wing returns for his junior season having averaged 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.1 steals a season ago for Cathedral. There may not be a player with a more unique skillset than what Aldridge Jr has. He makes an impact on both ends of the floor with his physical style and high motor. He is a tough finisher in the lane and a player that competes on the defensive end. He is an X-Factor for the Irish this season.
