The season is still a few months away, but with team workouts starting to take place soon, it is the perfect time to start previewing the season. In this series, we will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and notable games for the upcoming season. Before he does so, he brings back 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game from a season ago and will return as Cathedral's most productive player along with 2026 forward [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']. Koehler is one of the more versatile players you will see in the state this season and will be a contender to win Indiana Mr. Basketball. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='1561135' first='Keaton' last='Aldridge Jr']</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Speaking of Aldridge Jr., he has a chance to be the breakout player for this Cathedral Fighting Irish squad this upcoming season. The physical left-handed wing returns for his junior season having averaged 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.1 steals a season ago for Cathedral. There may not be a player with a more unique skillset than what Aldridge Jr has. He makes an impact on both ends of the floor with his physical style and high motor. He is a tough finisher in the lane and a player that competes on the defensive end.
