Patterson and his teammate, [player_tooltip player_id='1277105' first='Christian' last='Cardona'], almost willed their team to victory against Democracy Prep on Friday afternoon. I was a big fan of the 2 man game that they had going, and it was quite effective. Patterson had multiple crafty finishes around the rim. I also noticed him intelligently playing off of two feet in a few scenarios, which allowed him to get his shot off. While he definitely athletic, I would like to see him become even more explosive.

Cardona is a high IQ guard that looks to create for others, but is also a decent scorer himself. There were a few times where he drove to the rim and ran into a slew of defenders, but he still hit the shot. His effort and energy on defense impressed me. He came up with a few steals and threw some good lead passes that led to easy lay-ups for his teammates. In order for him to have even more success as a point guard, he will need to get slightly faster.

Knox played a phenomenal game against Boulder City. I liked how aggressive he was on the offensive end. He made a variety of moves to get to the basket and had some nice finishes. My favorite play of his was when he made a spin move on the base line and both scored and drew the foul. The Boulder City guards also had a tough time getting around him on defense, and often ended up passing the ball off.

[player_tooltip player_id='2374248' first='Dashaun' last='Harris'] played like a vet in DPAC's game against Cimarron. He started off the game, getting to the rim and free throw line. Harris then got hot from behind the arc and connected on two 3's from the same spot on back to back possessions. Later in the game he showed off his elite athleticism, and put down a dunk.

[player_tooltip player_id='2280840' first='Uzo' last='Nwapa'] was one of the better athletes that I watched on Friday. He showed some explosiveness on a few plays and also got to the line. Nwapa's top highlight was a hard slam dunk off a cut to the rim. On defense, he grabbed a lot of rebounds and forced his opponents to take some difficult shots.
