Dustyn Collins Wins MVP at The EXPO: Illinois
We will have wall to wall coverage of The EXPO: Illinois on Sunday over the next two weeks as our entire PHI staff was on hand to cover the event. We wanted to start out by naming the MVP of the camp. It might not be a name that many are familiar with, but he was the talk of the day as Centralia 2025 power forward

earned MVP with a monster performance!
Collins was the most dominant player all day long. We hadn’t seen him since the spring and he has continued to improve his game. It all starts with his athleticism. The 6’6” four man made an impression immediately during warm ups with his dunks. That would not stop once the 3 on 3 games started through the 5 on 5 contests as he powered home jam after jam. This along with his quickly improving skill set make him a tough cover. The face up four man was attacking off the bounce with authority where he got to the rim with regularity for slams. Also stretched the floor with his shooting as he knocked down threes at a pretty high clip throughout the day as he shot it with a ton of confidence.
Really liked how well Collins rebounded on both ends. He was quick to the offensive glass and would grab it off the defensive boards then push in the open floor. Defensively he was impactful as a shot blocker with an array of swats in the games we saw.
It was a complete showing from Collins who will see his stock rise in our next update after his play at The Expo!
