Standing at 6'11, the potential is there for Jack, and he looks to be finding ways to turn it into production for STMA. He was going to work out of the block in a win over Chanhassen, showcasing some impressive footwork to get guys in the air and create easy angles to finish from. Can cover a lot of ground off a single dribble to get into deep position, or can pull in an offensive board, keep the ball high, and go right back up to finish. Does a nice job of mixing in some weak hand finishes to keep defenders honest, and showcased soft touch when finishing with either hand. Also stepped out and knocked down a three.

Ahmed showed some intriguing flashes at the JV last season as a freshman, and is now turning that into production off the bench against some of the top teams in Minnesota this fall. Listed at 6'9, the sophomore forward has a ton of length mixed with good athleticism and coordination at that size. You can tell he puts in a lot of time practicing his footwork, as he's very comfortable out of the block, or catching and facing up in the high post. Can make defenders pay for giving him too much space for a jumper as well. Defensively has shown he can move his feet with smaller wings while also providing a shot blocking threat inside. Looks like someone we could see step up as a key bench player for Hopkins this winter.

There's a reason CJ put up over 30 points per game last season as a junior. He's absolutely relentless getting to the basket, and is one of the best finishers in the state with the ability to go right into shot blockers and find ways to score through contact. St. Louis Park got off to a hot start, but CJ kept his team in it throughout the game with some strong finishes and scrappy rebounding. He embraced the challenge of going at a pair of athletic 6'8 forwards, and in the end his team came away with the win.

Julius had some big moments in a pair of wins for Hopkins on Sunday. His size was important in a win over CDH, as his physicality helped limit the production of one of the best frontcourts in the state. He was battling to prevent deep post position, and his strength made him difficult to move on the block. Offensively he showed comfort to knock down the open three, and was reliable with his finishing around the rim. Julius did a nice job of making quick cuts off the ball to find pockets of space to take a dump-off pass and power his way up to the rim. Had the game winning lay-up in overtime to take down CDH.

Trey looks like a player on the verge of breaking out in the 2026 class. He had some impressive moments in a matchup with STMA, including an explosive dunk with a 6'11 defender coming in to contest. He showed good change of speed to freeze his defender before exploding off the floor for the dunk. Defensively he has the lateral quickness to move his feet out on the perimeter, but also stepped in to block a couple of shots in the paint. Was a 9.2 point per game scorer last winter as a sophomore.

Jeremiah plays the game with a level of composure you don't always find at the high school level. He keeps things simple, doesn't rush, and takes what the defense gives him. When defenders sag off, Jeremiah makes them pay as he's a deadly shooter from mid-range. In a pair of wins against Apple Valley and Chanhassen he also showed the ability to get to the rim and play off two feet where he can then create angles with his footwork to finish. Rock solid defender who can excel in a number of roles offensively based on what his team needs.

Omar could bring a spark to the floor for Richfield this season with his play on both ends. In a matchup with St. Louis Park he displayed a lot of toughness and willingness to do the dirty work. He was competing defensively to pressure the ball hard, didn't mind defending taller players at times, and was battling against size for rebounds on both ends of the floor. On the offensive end he was fighting his way through contact for some strong finishes inside, including a few in the second half that helped his team complete a come-from-behind win.
