The backcourt combination of Brown and [player_tooltip player_id='2336702' first='Matthew' last='McField'] is going to be a problem for PPL opponents this winter. Brown is a ridiculously quick guard who destroyed defenders at the Black Cager event off the bounce. This weekend he displayed filthy change of direction handles. His change of speed moves were impressive too. Because of his quick first step, Brown's straight line were unstoppable as well. When Brown was not getting to the rim in transition and in the half-court, he was splashing threes from all around the arc. Brown's ability to drain triples off the dribble is next level.

College coaches continue to sleep on this agile wing with a jumper that possesses three-point range. In the open court Brown displayed excellent end-to-end speed, solid instincts, and the ability to finish through contact. On half-court possessions, Brown spotted up for threes and operated in pick-n-roll action. He also continually found open creases in the defense below the free throw line for easy buckets. Brown's quickness, size and defensive instincts enabled him to switch 2 through 4.

In his match-up with St. Peter's Prep (NJ) 7-footer Keiner Asprilla, Pereira was at a significant size disadvantage. Still, this athletic double double machine put up a fierce battle. He scored in close thanks to his arsenal of fakes as well as his polished footwork, and ability to use the rim to shield the ball. Pereira also operated from the elbows where he displayed creative passing skills and a solid jumper. Defensively, Pereira was able to use his physicality to hold his position on the blocks. He also denied several shot attempts.

Ranselle spent the last year on a basketball hiatus, but at the Black Cager he showed no signs of rust. Ranselle proved he is an athletic and fast two-way prospect. His ability to pick an opponent's pocket and then quickly turn that steal into a transition opportunity was impressive. Ranselle frequently filled a lane on the fast break and then converted. He also slashed to the hoop for catch and lay-ins. His large wingspan and nose for the ball enabled him grab offensive rebounds and capitalize on those second chance opportunities. Ranselle is a 2025 headed for a breakout senior season.
