Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Following up a strong showing throughout the state playoffs as E&S made a run to the 4A semifinals, McField returned to the floor with a handful of his Engineer teammates and led Hunting Park I to a tight win over NEPA Elite . The senior utility guard was effective with his aggressive style of play on his way to 23 points, attacking the basket off the dribble and as a cutter before finishing strong inside through traffic. He was able to play passing lanes to turn defense into offense while also moving the ball well and showing he could keep things honest as a respectable shooter out to the perimeter. He doesn’t fit into a traditional mold at the scholarship level but could be a valuable Swiss-army knife for a small-college program.

On Saturday McField looked extremely comfortable running at the No. 1 option for E&S. He is a dynamic scoring guard with unlimited potential. McField was an absolute phenom in transition as he went end-to-end in a flash and then converted in traffic. In the half-court, his speed and creative dribble moves allowed McField to shred opposing defenses off the bounce. Once he reached the interior, McField scored and distributed. Yesterday he knocked down several threes too. McField also displayed his two-way skills by providing menacing on-ball defense.
