Area Rankings: Top 10 2026 Prospects in Southeast Iowa

Clark's recruitment is about to explode. The 6-9/6-10 big man has seen his stock skyrocket over the last several months after a great summer with MidPro Academy, and he has had multiple Big Ten schools in to see him lately. A big body with nimble feet and soft touch, he can torch teams inside and out as a scorer, but he's also a really good passer out of the post, recognizing the double early and kicking it back out, then re-establishing great position and burying his defender. He averaged 19.8 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game on 66-37-70 shooting splits last season.     An athletic wing who can create quality looks for himself and his teammates off the dribble, McGuire led the Dutch in scoring and rebounding as a sophomore, putting up 14.4 points and 7.6 rebounds a night. He has really good footwork and touch around the rim with either hand, can occasionally knock down shots from 3-point range, and is a versatile defender.     Muscatine has a pretty strong 2026 class, headlined by Becker, a versatile and long wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. At 6-5, he has the length to defend multiple positions and the size to shoot over defenders offensively. He shot 37.3% from behind the arc as a sophomore en route to 9.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.     Biah averaged 6.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game as a sophomore for the Muskies on 52-36-68 shooting splits. He's a really good athlete who uses his speed to his advantage, playing downhill and attacking the rim off the dribble routinely. He's a good enough shooter from 3-point range that he can't be sagged off of, and that allows him to blow by defenders who don't close out disciplined against him.     Another talented guard in the Muskies' 2026 class, Lukkarinen can play with or without the ball in his hands as a scorer or facilitator. He should step into a bigger role for Muscatine as a junior following a good summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2246861' first='Murray' last='Elite'] as a two-way guard.     Stacy was really productive as a sophomore for the Panthers, averaging 14.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.2 steals per game, and he'll have a chance to see his numbers skyrocket as a junior following the graduations of the team's leading and third-leading scorers. He's a quick guard with tight handles and he's a good finisher around the rim with either hand.     A strong wing with good size and form on his jumper, Schulte averaged 7.7 points and 3.9 rebounds a game as a sophomore for the Dutch on 50-38-59 shooting splits. He moves well without the ball in his hands and has a quick release off the catch.     A bouncy, intelligent guard who does a great job competing on the glass on both ends of the floor as well as getting his teammates involved, Stephens posted a 2.09 assist-to-turnover ratio as a sophomore for the Nikes while also averaging 10.9 points and 4.4 rebounds a game. He's a solid on-ball defender who moves his feet well and he has a penchant for jumping passing lanes and using his defense to spark the offense.     Boulton is among the top returning scorers in the state after averaging 24.0 points a game as a sophomore. He's a versatile scorer who can get to the rim for finishes, which he pairs with a nice floater game, solid mid-range jumper, and range that extends well beyond the high school line. In addition to his scoring, he's also a talented playmaker who sees the floor well and he does a nice job getting his teammates involved.     Griffin is a quick guard who likes to attack the rim off the dribble, averaging a team-high 16.8 points per game for the Bulldogs as a sophomore. He's a good enough shooter that it needs to be respected, but he's certainly better when he's playing aggressively and getting into the teeth of the defense.
