Smalls is an emerging to know to with Clayton High after spending the past two seasons at Cardinal Gibbons High. He led the Crusaders this past season with 16.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game across just 14 games of action. He missed the first part of the season due to an injury from football season. He'll be a key face in the Clayton Comets backcourt in 2024-25 as a top transfer name to know.

Freeman is another transfer to know as he joins Wayne Country Day School in the 2026 class. He's an electric two-way floor general who's shown he can score in bunches while still being a pest on the defensive end of the floor. He put up 25.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.3 assists per game this past season with the South Johnston Panthers. Look for him to be a strong presence for the Chargers, who typically are an NCISAA Playoff squad.

Whitner moves into the Top 100 of the latest rankings for North Carolina's 2026 class. He's a rising floor general with Garner High to get to know given his activity on both ends of the floor. He knows how to keep others involved as well as make things happen with his defensive presence. Look for him to play a role for them as a top team on the NCHSAA 4A stage.
