Elan Muniz | Prep Hoops Scout
The Falcons’ all-time leading scorer (surpassed 1,000 career points early this season), Ryker is a volume scorer with range and craftiness. Leading NCLA to strong non-conference wins, he stuffs the stat sheet and carries the offense for a small-school program. With interest from D3 powerhouses, Ryker’s scoring prowess and high academics make him a priority for programs valuing both basketball and classroom fit.

A high IQ point guard who did well to find his way throughout the Triad First 48 at the point guard role; by the end, he found his confidence in getting to the paint and making things happen when opportunities came his way; does well on both ends of the floor, a self-starter defensively; can really knock down shots on the perimeter when he gets going

Ryker is a guy to get eyes on with his NC Spartans group as he continues to be productive and efficient on both the high school and grassroots scene. Super tenacious, poised player on both ends of the floor, acting as a leader and floor general for his team. Defensively plays hard, is always poking and looking to turn his man over, and looking to create runouts. Offensively is a great table setter, always trying to push the tempo with the pass and find an open teammate rather than just create for himself.

Ryker is a quickly developing lead guard at NCLA and should be primed for a nice jump this upcoming season. I really liked his game when I saw him at the PrepHoops NC Top 250 Expo, showcasing a nice creative touch with the ball in his hands either for teammates or for himself. Plus jump shooter from both off the bounce and around the perimeter on the catch. Smooth passing ability and good vision to find teammates while driving the ball.

Ryker was impressive at the lead guard spot all day long for his squad at the Top 250 Expo. He showed he could absorb contact from opposing defenders and find ways to make things happen for himself and others on numerous occasions at the showcase. He didn’t get sped up or tuhe ball over often given his prowess as a playmaker on the floor. On the perimeter, he could knock down shots off the catch and off the bounce with relative ease. He’s a coaches dream to coach given his smooth game and ability to get others involved. He’ll be one to keep an eye on in NC’s 2026 class out of The North Carolina Leadership Academy.

Ryker is a really crafty lead guard that is able to both score and create in bunches for his group. One of the best I saw all day out of ball screens, his pace was phenomenal and really pressured defenses to guard up, getting free lanes for either himself or the roll man. He knocked down open shots with ease and played super within himself on that end. Defensively he is still improving, but has enough athleticism to get by as of now. He and

Ryker was one of two who were on hand at Cox Mill HS representing the North Carolina Leadership Academy which is located in the Piedmont Triad. He can be very accurate with his 3-point shooting capabilities. Ryker will throw defenses for a loop as he can attack the rim from the open floor or elect to shoot a mid- or long-range jumper. He also places plenty of emphasis on taking care of the ball and limiting turnovers and he has no problems drawing contact to give him and his team a chance at the free throw line. Ryker will also get creative from time to time with how he finishes at the rim.
