2025 Rankings: Deep Dive Guards to Know

Zapata has a really well-rounded approach, can play on the ball and off, and really epitomizes the Bear's style of play with his tough defense and nose for scoring around the paint. His strength is outside shooting but he's also capable of freezing defenders with a dribble combo and attacking to the hoop. He has good length and also showed some impact ability on the defensive end during the AAU season. He's patient working off PNRs and has the ability to knock down some outside shots. Great feel with the ball and really does a great job shifting defenses and setting things in motion for his offense. Moves like a true point guard and has great ball security while playmaking.
