The reigning NE2B North League MVP is a poised, athletic guard. He’s a D-I track recruit and it shows with his ability to run and run and run, but the Dragons point guard also plays with some subtle change of pace that allows him to consistently get to the paint. He’s efficient scoring inside with various finishes, takes his time to get strong and search for shooting windows, and shows great vision and touch on his passes.

Smart guard, knows how to switch up his pace with the ball, draw fouls in different areas, and has some great touch/vision as a passer. Great feel with the ball and really does a great job shifting defenses and setting things in motion for his offense. Moves like a true point guard and has great ball security while playmaking. He’s a real-deal athlete who also stars on the track where he holds several school records at St. George’s.

Jones is truly flying under the radar at St. George’s. Even as a freshman last season, he was leading the way at the point. He was the one communicating with coaches, setting up the offense, and spurring action. He is exceptional at finding space on the court, whether it’s for his own shot or passing through the defense to teammates for open looks. Jones’ jumper looks good but if he can get that part of his game to fall more consistently, he’ll be a serious player in 2B. He will be an exciting player to watch grow over the next three years.
