-Came away impressed with Scott each time I saw him throughout the day as an explosive guard that can play on or off the ball. With a really quick first step, a smooth change of direction off the bounce, and both the patience/footwork to allow defenders to fly by off the pump fake before stepping through to score at the rim--Scott stood out by playing within himself and making the right read. Had a nice extension finish after blowing past his matchup to the basket then followed it up defensively with pinning a shot off the glass from the weakside before kicking it ahead to a teammate in transition. Definitely a name to track in Anne Arundel County for a balanced Meade team.

-Robinson's intensity made an impact for his team all throughout the 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games, harnessing his athleticism to jump passing lanes, block shots, finish above the rim in transition, and force turnovers on the ball at the defensive end of the floor. The skill level has improved as a scorer in the paint that can back down his matchup and hit faders, bully his matchup to the rim, or as a driver that attacks his opponent's outside shoulder to get to his spots. Having the IQ and leg stamina to shadow his matchup's crossovers on the perimeter, keep them sideline, and force dribble pick-ups or collect deflections disrupted his matchup's offensive flow throughout the day.

-The perimeter scoring flair stood out as a shifty PG that gets to his spots and into jumpers smoothly off the dribble pick-up on all 3 levels of the floor. Cannady does a good job of breaking his matchup down off the bounce and uses the glass well to finish through contact on off-balance floaters going away from the basket. One-handed touch passes off the bounce are becoming more and more accurate as he's beginning to execute on quick passing windows in the halfcourt. Allowing the plays to develop/waiting for the screen to arrive, allowing the traps to close an extra half second to free up his teammates--all developing pieces of his game that sharpen more and more each time I see him.

-The skill level was evident throughout the day as a wing that can attack guys off the bounce or get into his stepback/sidestep 3 pretty smoothly off the dribble. His leaping ability and hands allow him to finish through traffic/contact around the cup. As he develops his IQ, positioning himself in better spots to grab rebounds will enhance the physical tools to make him a force on the glass. Woodard's athleticism allows him to recover defensively to block a shot at the rim or to punch a 3 point attempt but I would like to see more defensive discipline to read his matchup and force them to make a tough play over him vs going for the highlight play each time. Still, with his size and skillset it's not hard to see why he's in our top 3 for 2027.

-The incoming freshman didn't look out of place at all in a showcase of mainly upperclassmen, love the poise and pace that Orcev plays at with the ball in his hands. A skilled guard that can play 1-3, hit shots from midrange and beyond the arc, and a skilled finisher that uses his pivot well to create better finishing angles around the basket. Doesn't handle it well enough to be a primary 1 against quicker guards that can get under him, but he sees the floor well and hit teammates across the court with 1-handed passes off of movement--indicating that long-term upside as a playmaker.
