The Toledo Top 64 brought out 64 prospects looking to play at the college level from the classes of 2025-2028 with the older classes having the majority of invites to increase their chances of receiving small college interest from the event. In this article we'll focus on the seniors who stood out to me on Sunday.

One of the top shooters and scorers at the event, Koester was doing what I've seen him do at the high school and grassroots level on Sunday. Able to run off screens and knock down shots, Koester plays within himself offensively and just produces. No surprise he already has a couple of small college offers and surely increased his interest on Sunday.

McAlister is a tough kid who isn't afraid to do the dirty work to impact the game. A player who rebounds much better than his height would suggest and dives on the floor for loose balls, McAlister's effort levels are never questioned by me. Combine that with some strong finishes through contact and a couple time and space jumpers and McAlister had a solid overall outing on Sunday.

A new name for me, I had never even heard of Robison before Sunday morning when he was announced as a late alternate invite. He made the most of the opportunity by flat out getting busy offensively. I liked the sense of urgency he played with on the ball, always in attack mode looking to either get downhill or pull up with a jumper. My biggest surprise of the day, few guards were as productive as Robison who looks like he could be a breakout senior in northwest Ohio this winter.

One of the tallest players at the event, and in Ohio, Wood is a prospect who is sure to draw college interest. I thought Wood did a nice job of scoring with his back to the basket, making his height a clear advantage. When Wood got position, he either shot over shorter players or finished with a powerful dunk. Also trying to expand his range, I saw Wood attempt more 3-pointers than I've ever seen before. While the 3-pointers were intriguing, I found his play in the paint most encouraging on Sunday.

This was my first chance to watch Gerken and I was immediately intrigued by his size and frame. I thought he moved well for his size and made shots from the outside. When you look at his size, shooting ability and athleticism, it's easy to see why Gerken has become a priority recruit for a couple small college programs.

Jefferson is a player who made an impact last season at this event and once again performed well. Central State offered Jefferson immediately following the event, clearly impressed with how he played. I thought Jefferson played with a lot of confidence on both ends of the court. Despite his size, Jefferson also grabbed a handful of rebounds simply because he played harder than other guys on the court. I expect Jefferson to be one of the most impactful two way point guards in the Toledo City League this winter.
