Who were the players that drove a hour or more to get to this event to compete? The Best of the Outstate from the Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575638' first='Izayah' last='Cook'] of Sauk Rapids-Rice (Soph). We always though that Cook had great potential and then we saw him finish explosively in several ways and now our thoughts of potential are even higher. When he can learn to apply that to a team game he could be so very good.

Luke Janson of Hermantown (Jr). At 6'7 with skills out to the perimeter, the modern game loves him as a prospect. Surely one of the players that is moving up on our stock risers list.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874846' first='Gavin' last='Johnson'] of Cannon Falls (Sr). When it comes to senior stock risers from the event Gavin is on the very short list of players. Between his defense and perimeter skill at 6'5 he's a better prospect than I think many realize.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] of Zumbota-Mazeppa (Jr). Miller averaged nearly a double-double as a sophomore and he was very good this past weekend. He is surely one of the top stock risers from the junior class from the event.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575647' first='Micah' last='Nwachukwu'] of St. Cloud Cathedral (Jr). Ran around team to team seemingly and played all day and made the most of it as a scorer. There is potential with his attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='2115657' first='Gavin' last='Roderick'] of Alexandria (Jr). I did not know Gavin had this level of potential as a wing scorer. I was really impressed with what he could do offensively in multiple ways and I am very interested to see how he works that into a team game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1559916' first='Korde' last='Roseman'] of Brainerd (Sr). One of the better scorers in the Outstate and Korde has shown that in multiple settings. I think he's about to have a big year for Brainerd.

[player_tooltip player_id='2447540' first='Jayden' last='Schultz'] of Browerville (Jr). I don't know if Jayden is the best player at Browerville since Bryce Irsfeld but he is surely one of the first names to jump on our state wide radar since Bryce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2575629' first='Brayden' last='Sturm'] of Springfield (Sr). Sturm has a chance to be an All State Class A player this winter and he has a chance to get his team into the top ten.

[player_tooltip player_id='1574216' first='Azayah' last='Washington'] of St. Cloud Apollo (Sr). Not much to say that we haven't said already: Washington is going to put up numbers that Mr. Basketball reps will have to look at it for their varying level of honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1584901' first='Ricky' last='Wengert'] of Rochester Century (Sr). A quality guard that can score, can handle, and should be one of the better guards in the Big Nine.
