The Expo Oklahoma: Team 4 Evaluations

Good run for Baughman as he looks to step into a bigger role as sophomore for one of the emerging top 4A programs, North Rock Creek. There's potential as a tricky guard, as he knocked down pull up threes and played with his head up in transition. Seems to understand the concept of passing up a good look for a great look. Knocking down shots and making the right play is always a good ticket for a sophomore to play more.     Similar to his twin brother, Denson is a bulldog guard that gets after it on both ends of the court. He's compact and strong, allowing him to play a bit bigger than his size. While he does make it happen with his athletic traits, he also stood out with how vocal he was in communicating and encouraging his teammates. Seems to have the trait of being an energy giver, forming a tough 1-2 backcourt punch with his brother for the Lions of Chandler this winter.     Head on a swivel guard, who did a good job of getting downhill and creating for himself and teammates. As a scorer he mixed in floaters, two foot stops and ball fakes, giving him a good unpredictable style to his attacking game. He also rarely forced a bad look, as he spread the ball around to teammates. Did a really good job of finding the openings the defenses gave him. Great skill foundation as he heads into the sophomore year.       Spot up specialist, with good form and a quicker release. Made right plays (transition passing) and knocked down shots when called upon. Runs to spots quickly and understands his role and how to excel in it. From a transition two handed to a chase down pin block, the motor and athleticism were apparent. After the aforementioned pin down block, he raced down the court and drilled a three as part of a secondary night. The highlights continued in transition, when he hit a nice spin move then drilled a 5 foot fade away shot. Rogers had been an undervalued prospect in the Class of 2026, loud play opened eyes and will be kept tabs on in southern Oklahoma this winter.       Complete guard was strong throughout the day. Shooting is his calling card, seemingly automatic when he gets his feet set and a clear look at the rim. Even a few steps beyond the line. Along with shooting, he often made the right plays as a passer and is unselfish. A "rim grazer" dunk was promising, as that's the next step in his evolution.
